We take best out of 3 rolls, rolling pools of d10.
You need sets of the same number, with each repeating digit adding speed, and higher numbers being how well you did.

Now, a small conversation on the matter:

Well, 3x5 means a speed of 3 and a finesse of 5. 2x10 is speed two and finesse 10.
In a race, or an ambush, the speed may be more important than the finesse.
In a fight, a 10 is a blow to the head and a 1 to the feet.

Ushi's quirk has Speed+2.
And Reliable x2
That means her 2x10 becomes a 3x10 by flipping a die thanks to reliable.
Then that 3x10 gets +2 to speed.

So it's like rolling 5x10 when you have +2 to speed?
Against someone with no speed?

Yeah, but the Speed mod doesn't affect damage.

Actually rolling a 5x10 would do a lot more damage.

Is it only 10s and 1s that have special bonuses on them?

10's are "Yes ,and...", 1's are "Yes, but..."

Mods?

Mighty: +1 damage, like your whip.
Splash: Hits not only a bodypart, but one of the connecting ones. Like Shoto's blasts getting both your Legs and Guts.
Area: This one rolls another d10 by itself that hits in that hit location everyone in it's area of effect. How Shoto hit both you and Mineta.
