► background/history:
	Growing up in San Diego, Max was a very good student but didn't have the best reputation, he began to act out and befriended the wrong people all through high school. After school he decided to clean up and pursue his real dream, becoming a singer. His mother was a fan of idols when she lived in Korea, and she introduced Max to them. Max said goodbye to his mother and father and set off to South Korea where he was scouted for the entertainment agency WJN. Not even a year after he began training, his mother called him from San Diego. She told him the news of how his alcoholic father was found in a lake by their house, dead. Max was not close to his father but still blamed himself. He went back to San Diego and supported his mother for the rest of the year, losing hope for his dreams. Max's mother was disappointed by this and bought her son a one-way ticket to South Korea. Max was reluctant but went back anyway, and thankfully he was accepted back into WJN to continue his training. The day he debuted with the group was the happiest day of his life. Unfortunately, his mother could not be there with him, and he only hoped this was all worth it.

	Even in America Max was a very positive and outgoing person. Now that he is in Korea, he expanded that more and often becomes friends with everyone he meets because of his charismatic behavior. He is into skinship a lot, as he believes that is how you get closer to someone. Max tries his best to stay on the good side of people, but he gets himself into unavoidable positions that he somehow messes up even more. He's a prankster and he was ridiculed at his American school for playing many jokes on the teachers there. Max is often late to school and some practices because he never gets enough sleep, according to him. Because of his younger siblings, enjoys taking care of people more than being taken care of. Max is a very polite person until you mess with someone close to him, and in that situation is how he almost got expelled from his last school.

He's a very cautious and scared person. He sleeps with a giant bear every night. Hugs are his way of showing love, so he gives them constantly. Showers are his happy place, he takes them for hours at a time. He likes coke. His dances include meaningful moves. Even if he raps, he still likes ballads better.
