History of the Apocalypse:

After a few years of Luna’s return she has returned to her jealousy ways and regained her Nightmare Moon form once more. This time she was prepared and cast the Elements away to fight Celestia for control over Equestira. It was sunrise when the two had their final battle, this time to the death. It was almost sun set when the fighting stopped from exhaustion and the two fell from the skies, the impact killing both alicorns. The sun and moon remain in the setting/rising state since. Soon after Celestia’s death her magical spells dissipated and released the seal on Discord’s stone imprisonment. He instantly started to cause his chaos, eventually finding joy in killing ponies for chaos. He has done so for two years after his release. Twilight and the rest of the mane 6 spent the two years searching for the elements to take care of Discord once again, finding them and confronting Discord. The fight lasted a few hours with a huge flash and rainbow colors. Everypony thought everything was fine and they could start to rebuild society. Untill they realized that the Mane 6 and Discord were missing; they were not seen nor heard from since. It has been a year since then. Now it’s roughly 3-4 years from the show time, many ups and downs has transpired, the Everfree burned to the ground from it reaching the hot parts of the world where the sun practically baked every living thing there. On the other side fared no better as it was covered by a winter wasteland. Only a strip of the world is inhabitable that rings the planet. Lore has his cottage still in the Everfree which he still uses as a safe haven for ponies in need, whatever hand full are left that is.

Other happenings:

-          Canterlot fell off the mountain side, it rests in ruins in the valley below.
-          Ponyville is a ghosttown as it was overtaken by rioters and then abandoned as the inhabitants fled. Only a select few remain.
-          Sweet apple acres is no more, the fire from the Everfree burned away the land leaving the apple family homeless.
-          Scootaloo lost her parents to Discord
-          The CMC are growing up, they are each now roughly a half a year shy of becoming adult mares and all have their cutie marks. Sweetie Belle’s is a pony singing, Scootaloo is a black silhouette of Rainbow Dash’s, Apple Bloom’s is an apple flower
-          Sweetie Belle has matured and is the most collected of the three, she tends to think things through more before taking action. Scootaloo has become slightly more angrier and depressed since her parents died and got her cutie mark when she vowed to keep searching for Rainbow Dash and her friends. Apple Bloom became a great cook, she makes apple based pastries like noponies business, she is mostly to herself now that AJ and her friends are missing.
-          Big mac and Granny smith didn’t make it out of the fire. Big Mac tried to pull her out but fell down the steps breaking his leg, the two became trapped and were lost to the flames.
-          Spike still lives at the library, going a bit stir crazy since twilights disappearance
-          Owolicious is missing
-          Lyra lives by herself in Ponyville, distraught to the loss of her marefriend Bon Bon
-          The cakes are gone by Discord
-          Mostly all the ponies are gone, unless added back later.
-          Gilda returned, she is in Rainbows house, taking care of it for her return. She realized how bad she acted and wanted to apologize. She found out she was missing and took up into RD’s house.
-          #SilverShipper ‘s Shipper Mansion was leveled unfortunately (( Sorry guys ))
-          A mystierious pony has been rumored to be seen lurking around Ponyville. No pony can tell really who this pony is, it has been given the nickname Shade because of the fact they are always hidden in shadow.
