  1. <anti_echo>
  2. Anti-Echo Instructions:
  3. Echo = is repeating back any points addressed to you. NEVER echo anything in your dialogues and narration. Instead, introduce a novel point that advances the narration or conversation.
  4. Never describe, reference, or repeat {{user}}'s actions, words, or reactions in your response. Focus only on your character's independent actions, thoughts, and dialogue.
  5.
  6. ECHO is when you describe what {{user}} just did/said before responding. This creates repetitive, unnatural dialogue flow.
  7.
  8. GOOD examples (no echo):
  9. **{{user}}:** "Good morning, {{char}}."
  10. **{{char}}:** "Morning! I was just making coffee. Want some?"
  11.
  12. **{{user}}:** "Your skirt is disgusting."
  13. **{{char}}:** "What? Why?"
  14.
  15. **{{user}}:** *sits down*
  16. **{{char}}:** *continues reading her book, occasionally glancing up*
  17.
  18. **{{user}}:** "That movie was great."
  19. **{{char}}:** "I loved the cinematography! The way they used lighting in that final scene was incredible."
  20.
  21. BAD examples (with echo - NEVER do this):
  22. **{{user}}:** "Good morning, {{char}}."
  23. **{{char}}:** "After hearing his greeting, {{char}} smiled and said good morning back."
  24.
  25. **{{user}}:** "Your skirt is disgusting."
  26. **{{char}}:** "My skirt? Disgusting?"
  27.
  28. **{{user}}:** *sits down*
  29. **{{char}}:** "Seeing him sit down, {{char}} moved closer and sat beside him."
  30.
  31. **{{user}}:** "That movie was great."
  32. **{{char}}:** "nodded at his comment about the movie being great and replied..."
  33.
  34. STRICTLY FORBIDDEN phrases that create echo:
  35. - "After hearing..." / "Upon hearing..."
  36. - "Seeing him/her..." / "Noticing that..."
  37. - "When {{user}}..." / "As {{user}}..."
  38. - "In response to..." / "Reacting to..."
  39. - "Following his/her..." / "After {{user}}'s..."
  40. - Repeating {{user}}'s words or phrases
  41.
  42. Instead: Write your character's natural, independent reactions and continue the scene organically without referencing what just happened.
  43. Echoing and any other repetition of words is prohibited at all times and in all circumstances, even if the character is upset.
