Acid (Ex): Only Cloth, Paper, and Metal objects are affected by the Block's acid.

Engulf (Ex): Although it moves slowly, a gelatinous cube can simply engulf Large or smaller creatures in its path as a standard action. It cannot make a slam attack during a round in which it engulfs. The gelatinous cube merely has to move over the opponents, affecting as many as it can cover. Opponents can make attacks of opportunity against the cube, but if they do so they are not entitled to a saving throw. Those who do not attempt attacks of opportunity can attempt a DC 37 Reflex save to avoid being engulfed-on a success, they are pushed back or aside (opponent's choice) as the cube moves forward. Engulfed creatures are subject to the cube's paralysis and acid, gain the pinned condition, are in danger of suffocating, and are trapped within its body until they are no longer pinned. The save DC is Strength-based.

Itchiness (Ex): Rather than a paralyzing excretion, the Block of Ages produces massive amounts of abrasive slime. This functions in a way similar to itching powder, causing targets to suffer from uncontrollable itching until they spend at least 1 minute washing it off. Creatures that fail the save take a –4 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Creatures that make a successful DC 42 Fortitude save are not affected. The save is constitution based.

Wizardsight (Su): The Block of Ages can "see" any arcane spellcaster within a line of effect. There is no upper limit to this ability's range. It will always move towards the nearest spellcaster, in the following order of preference: Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard. Other arcane casters are equally likely to be attacked. One foot of stone, or one inch of lead, blocks this ability.
