  1. I assume it would be impossible to sum up this weekend in a single post. Too damn much happened and I'm way too excited to keep it short. So I will talk about each match in order and give my thoughts.
  2.
  3. Night 1:
  4.
  5. Rhea Ripley def Becky Lynch (17:05)
  6. This was a very good match but not a classic by any means. Knowing that Becky was sick throughout made it much more impressive. Love both Becky and Rhea but having a long title reign for Rhea is a smart choice. 3.5/5
  7.
  8. 6 Pack Ladder Match (17:25)
  9. I don't really care one way or another about A-town down under but this was a fun match and R-Truth is a treasure. 2.5/5
  10.
  11. Rey Mysterio and Andrade def Santos Escobar and Dirty Dom (11:05)
  12. This entire feud and all of the LWO is not over with me at all. OK TV match, was not really interested and didn't belong on a mania like this. Possibly the low point of either night for me, if not for the next match... 1/5
  13.
  14. Jey Uso def Jimmy Uso (11:05)
  15. The hype package for this was amazing. Then the match happened. It was horrible. Matt and Jeff had a better match at mania. These guys are very talented but don't make them wrestle each other again. Another thought, it's 2024 and I think i hate superkicks now. This match was so bad, I would make Russo watch it. -3/5
  16.
  17. Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi def Damage Ctrl (8:05)
  18. Man, this showed really had a lull in the middle looking back on it, holy shit. There wasn't anything wrong with this match exactly, but it wasn't much more than a way to get a few more people on the card who would otherwise not have had a match. 1.5/5
  19.
  20. Sami Zayn def Gunther (15:30)
  21. Gunther made the Intercontinental title mean something again and we should all be thankful for that. Sami deserved a big moment like this and it was smart to give the audience a feel good moment somewhere in this first night. Sami is a deserving champion and a phenomenal professional wrestler. 4/5
  22.
  23. The Rock and Roman Reigns def Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins (44:35)
  24. This match was fucking awesome. Everyone played their roles perfectly and looked great. One thing WWE has always done fantastically is stacking the odds against a babyface. Cody Rhodes chances on night 2 felt pretty hopeless at this point. What a great way to wrap up the first night. 4/5
  25.
  26. Night 2:
  27.
  28. Drew McIntyre def Seth Rollins (10:30)
  29. Punk is so good on commentary. This was a much better opener than night 1. This hit all the spots and set a tone for the rest of this night. Drew and Seth are absolute superstars in every sense. 4/5
  30.
  31. Damian Priest def Drew McIntyre (0:09)
  32. I love that the theme of the evening is going to be "Obsession will cost you everything." A perfectly executed cash-in. Hopefully this launches Priest to the moon and I can't wait to see Punk vs McIntyre. 4.5/5
  33.
  34. The Pride def The Final Testament (8:35)
  35. This felt like it was way longer than 8 1/2 minutes. I did not want to see any of these guys, and in that respect, they disappointed me. Would have been better if there was more ECW representation that just Bubba Ray. 1.5/5
  36.
  37. LA Knight def AJ Styles (12:25)
  38. I thought this match would have been better but it just never grabbed me. These guys are both great but I don't buy the feud or have much stake in the outcome either. 2/5
  39.
  40. Logan Paul def Kevin Owens and Randy Orton (17:40)
  41. How do you not give Kevin Owens the moment that you gave Sami last night?!? This was a good match with a fast pace and Logan Paul is a great chickenshit heel. I don't agree that he needs a title at this point but if he has to have one, at least the US title is basically meaningless. 2.5/5
  42.
  43. Bayley def Iyo Sky (14:20)
  44. THIS was the match I was here for. Give Bayley her fucking flowers. She has been so good for so long and has done so much that she doesn't get credit for. These two put on a GREAT wrestling match with fantastic psychology and a christmas morning level finish. So happy for Bayley. It's about damn time. 5/5
  45.
  46. Cody Rhodes def Roman Reigns (33:25)
  47. I thought this was a great match...and then the last 5 minutes made it a match I will tell my fucking grandchildren about. Don't you dare tell me you knew the fucking Undertaker was going to show up. Thank you WWE for all of this. My heart was bursting when Samantha Irvin's voiced cracked as she announced Cody as the new champion while holding back tears. Best Wrestlemania in a very long time. 5/5
