Yul Hee was born in Busan but moved to Seoul when she was three (3) years old. Busan wasn't much of the liking of her parents, who have really demanding tastes and points of views for everything. Yul Hee's family is rich because they were born with it, but they also work for it. Her parents and the rest of her family have well paid jobs and basically don't go home working to earn money. Her parents are really strict with her since she was a child because they wanted her to become a surgeon. She was under a lot of pressure because of this, her parents told her she had to be a good example for her sister, and she even tried hard to like what her parents wanted her to become, but her passion was singing and modeling and she wouldn't change that. She decided to follow her dreams no matter what and that this was the good example she could give to her sister. Her parents were angry and were in denial of her becoming an idol or a model. They eventually accepted her dreams, but were still mad about it and said they wouldn't give her a penny, and that she would have to make money by herself with what she decided to do. She was accepted in a popular model agency and appeared in runways, magazine covers and started doing CFS with the other models and then eventually on her own. She then was scouted by Pledis Entertainment. When her parents saw everything she achieved on her own they had no choice but to accept her and support her in every way possible.
