the children of the enlightenment: liberalism, socialism, fascism sit around a table. Each insisting the other 2 are really just the same

which is actually what you do with skeptics (liberals) and social justice warriors (socialists) now that I think about it.

these 3 positions are all related so of course they would share overlapping or similar ideas. What matters is whether the premises are productive. Hyperindividualism, is not. Equality as a moral value beyond the law? No. And liberalism does hold that, or at least employs it to boost its morality
