  1. Those who know me are aware I'm not much of a vocal person. I stream a few times a year, but haven't in a little over a year, so I'm making my first "Pastebin Update/Speedplans" thing since I have a lot on my mind and can't really stream right now. So with AGDQ coming up, I've been very active with speedrunning these past few months. I pb'd in the 3 games I've majorly ran, and in 1 game that I've put a decent amount of time into. Just now I got an unreal time in Chibi-Robo!, I was aiming for a 2:25 but managed to get a 2:24 which I hardly believed was possible. Securing what I considered a great stopping point in that game, I'm now trying to sort out what to do next.
  2. The AGDQ Games list is being revealed in a few days and I'm too hopeful for my own good. I've never submitted anything to a GDQ before, but really aspire to perform a run in it. I've sort of been planning for it throughout this year. I took a speech class in attempt to improve my commentary; dropped a class this semester in preparation for having time to grind a potentially accepted game; and obviously spent a lot of time getting good, new times for the submissions themselves (Although I didn't have enough time to pb in eggmania, so the submission is my old vod which left a rotten taste in my mouth). I'm going to attempt to go to AGDQ regardless of whether I get a run in or not. But anyways, back to what my priorities are videogame-wise:
  3.
  4. Tier 1:
  5. On the off-chance that one of my runs gets accepted, I will mainly be grinding that until the event itself.
  6.
  7. Tier 2:
  8. Paper Mario Color Splash: I have some ideas regarding glitch hunting. I probably won't do another run if I don't end up finding anything, but I have some theories I want to test out.
  9.
  10. Chibi-Robo!: Although I previously mentioned I got a time that killed any%, we (the chibi-robo speedrunning community) have
  11. always beat around the bush regarding the 100% category nobody has attempted to run or route. Our guess is it would be in the double digits of hours, but Chibi-Robo! has such a unique routing experience. I even found an incredible sequence break a couple months ago, that is one of my proudest findings in speedrunning ( https://youtu.be/55O5OrlxVHQ ). Immediately after I posted it in discord, Jaxler improved upon it, making it a lot safer and viable. That short span of time was so exciting and fun, I'd just love to see what else the category has to offer.
  12.
  13. Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash: Uh oh, the cursed video game. For those of you who aren't aware of this game, Hey! Pikmin is a copy paste of it. The difference is this series was already fairly dead in the first place, so it might not bounce back after its release. Pikmin isn't gonna die because of that 3ds game lol. Anyways, I only completed one run of it and that somewhat bothers me. I spent a fair amount of time on the game and I'm much better than what my pb is. I actually did a second run that had pretty good gameplay, but the run died due to a glitch working differently because of the save file I was playing on. That basically led me to quit and then I just never attempted a run again.
  14.
  15. Tier 3:
  16. Casual Games: I haven't been spending much time playing games casually and I think it'd be fun to do for a while. Well idk if it classifies as casual, but my idea is to spend more time playing K-Shoot, maybe go to Round 1 some more. I've got taiko switch getting shipped over and I think that game would be very fun to be proficient in. I've also started learning DBFZ combos and would like to give that a shot. Although these aren't really looked at as casual games since the focus is learning and improvement, they aren't anywhere near a comparable time sink speedrunning is. They can be, but I don't play them as such.
  17.
  18. Tier 4:
  19. These are all unlikely, where I either complete all previously mentioned tasks or just get burnt out on them.
  20.
  21. Captain Toad: Everything. My any% gdq submission beat wr by one second, and that can be pushed down. I still don't have an all gems time. 100% can always be better. Switch, either just for a bad/fun any% time, or co-op. Co-op 100% on switch seems really interesting considering how different it would be from Wii U's 100% run, which I love.
  22.
  23. Chibi-Robo! Clean Sweep/Photo Finder: I routed the start of clean sweep a while ago, and that game's routing potential seems just as overwhelming as the original, as it should considering it's the only true sequel in the series. Photo finder seems very simple to route and since I love the series so much, I might end up running every Chibi-Robo! game.
  24.
  25. Many of these tasks would probably eat up months of my time each. Smash ultimate is just around the corner so I wonder how much I'll get done. Oh yeah I almost forgot, I'm going to try to get back into streaming when I move (hopefully) soon. Wow, an hour flew by when typing this whole thing. I probably forgot to mention some things since that's how I am, but thanks for reading this if you have.
