- >Day Whatever in Equestria
- >You've just come home from your "hard" work at Roseluck's stall, selling flowers as usual.
- >The pay isn't much, but it's enough to get you by.
- >As you walk into the flat, you're greeted by your bat pony flatmate.
- >"Hey, Anon! Welcome home!"
- "Hey."
- >That's the only thing you say as you trudge past the pony and into the kitchen, opening up the fridge for something to
- drink or eat
- >Oh hello there, bottle of milk. You're looking quite nice today...
- >You grab the handle of the said bottle and pull it out, easily sliding off the lid as Echo walks into the kitchen.
- >Just as you raise the opening of the bottle to your mouth, the bat pony looks at you.
- >"ANON, NO! DON'T DRINK FROM THE BOTTLE!"
- >You glance at the pony out of the corner of your eye and slowly lower the bottle, raising an eyebrow gently as you turn
- to her.
- "Why not? Is there something wrong with me doing so?"
- >Echo frowns gently and walks over, eyeing the opening of the bottle with some displeasure.
- >"Would you really want to drink from a bottle that someone else's mouth has touched?"
- >You glance at the bottle and shrug, returning your gaze to the pony.
- "It doesn't really bother me that much. After all, I do brush my teeth so it shouldn't be that bad."
- >"But... Aren't worried about all the germs and stuff?"
- >You shake your head slowly and raise the opening of the bottle to your lips, taking a swig from it.
- >Echo is clearly unhappy about what you've done, and conveys this by letting out a deep sigh of irritation.
- >"Well, I'm not drinking from that bottle now, Anon. And you're getting a new bottle."
- >You giggle to yourself gently as you grab the lid and screw it back on, looking down at bat pony.
- "Me, get a new bottle of milk just because I drank from it? For christ's sake, I very much doubt that I've left anything
- on there that'll kill you, nevermind make you ill..."
- >"I don't care, I am not drinking from that bottle and that is final!" Echo exclaims, the frown across her face deep,
- it seeming rather unnatural on a cartoon-like face like hers.
- "If you want a new bottle of milk, then get it yourself. Besides, I need to start making food for us."
- >Echo grumbles to herself and walks off and up the stairs, probably to strop in her room. Whatever, you don't care.
- >While you walk around the kitchen and grab a pan and eggs for tonight's dinner, the bat pony walks down the stairs and
- to the door, opening it up and shouting back to you;
- >"I'm gonna get that damn bottle of milk, I shouldn't be long!" She says, and you don't bother to reply, but instead look
- out of the only window in the room while you hear the door close.
- >While the two of you were arguing, Luna's moon had taken to the sky and beautiful, twinkling stars lit up the darkness
- above. It was a shame that you never got to see such beauty while you were back on your planet.
- >After a good half a hour or so you hear the door open up once again and the gentle clop of hooves, signalling that the
- pony is back home.
- >She walks straight into the kitchen and glares at you unhappily with a bottle of milk in her mouth, somehow keeping her
- gaze trained on you while she opens the fridge up and slides the said bottle in.
- "There, are you happy? Can I freely drink that from that bottle now?"
- >"Yeah, sure. You might as well make it your bottle." Echo grumbles and walks off out of the kitchen and takes a left
- into the living room.
- >The rest of the night goes smoothly, you finish and serve up dinner, eat up and head to bed.
- >In the middle of the night you wake up from a nightmare, your body soaked in sweat and your throat as dry as a desert.
- >Deciding to satisfy yourself with that o' glorious bottle of milk, you get out of the bed and walk down into the kitchen,
- to be greeted with a sight that earlier would of definitely rustled your jimmies.
- >Echo is drinking from the new bottle of milk, only to stop when she notices you in the room.
- >"Ehe, uh... I can, uh, explain?"
- >God damn it, Echo.
