  5. 1) Go to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html and download the latest version of VLC media player.
  6.  
  7. 2) Go to https://github.com/chrippa/livestreamer/releases and download the latest setup and run/install it.
  8.  
  9. 3) To begin watching streams through VLC, press the Windows key on your keyboard and type in the search field "livestreamer twitch.tv/twitchnamehere best" without quotations.

  11. Some tips:

  13. Replace twitchnamehere with the name of the streamer you plan to watch, and "best" is the quality option, feel free to change.
  14.  
  15. You can also use this to watch Highlights and Past broadcasts, simply change the url to the url of the Highlight or Past broadcast.
