  1. Name: Anathema
  2. Gender: Female
  3. Race: Goo Griffon
  4. Class: Deathmaster (Rogue/Necromancer)
  5. Combat Talent: (Bane Blade; passive: +1 to poisoning weapons via Toxic Slime. Due to the corruptive nature of the poison, poisoned weapons used by people other than Anathema also trigger the effects of Awakening Blade.)
  6. Noncombat Talent: (Dark Influence; instant automatic, recharge 3: Anathema lends some of her power to an ally, aiding them in an action but permanently tainting them. After an ally's noncombat action fails, Anathema can use this talent to give them +2 to that roll upon their consent. If they accept the aid, the recipient gains 1 point of Rot and part of their body darkens in coloration. If an individual has 5 or more points of Rot, they are considered Corrupted and gain certain benefits in exchange for some negative traits. When a Corrupted character accepts Anathema's Dark Influence, the action is instead made automatic. However, ALL actions they take that would not be considered amoral or selfish have DC+2. Additionally, their appearance takes on a dark visage, souring relationships with holy and otherwise righteous characters. Only Shaman's Return to Earth or similar effects can remove points of Rot, though Anathema is firmly against one ever doing so.)
  7. Hit/Wounds: 5/5
  8.
  9. Skills:
  10. (Free Racial) Goo: passive; You're able to change your form to better transverse small areas like under doors or in cracks. You are also able to store things inside yourself. In combat you take a DC-1 to free yourself from grapples and effects. You can also chose to remain in your base pony form with a DC4 making you appear as just another pony. Falling helpless always reveals your nature.
  11. (Racial) Toxic Slime: passive; A specialty of the cult of Smooze and the main reason why goo ponies are treated with caution and skepticism. Your slimy body is now poisonous and all your unarmed attacks have the poisoned tag and deal direct wound damage. You can also poison weapons of your own or a willing ally with a DC6. Poisoning weapons will last a successful roll - 5. (i.e. 1 turn on 6, 2 turns on 7 etc.)
  12. (Free Multiclass) Awakening Blade: passive; Any enemy killed by the Deathmaster returns to life as a weak minion. These minions do not count against your maximum amount of minions, but only have 3 hits and 1 wound.
  13. (Class) Vanish: automatic instant, recharge 2; Treat as Stealth while out of combat. You become hidden as though you used Stealth and move behind a target. When you use a second action, treat it as though using it while hidden.
  14.
  15. Inventory:
  16. Semi-Dissolved Black Feathers: Spellcasting Catalyst
  17.
  18. Traits:
  19. Anathema is a female goo griffon. Covered in black feathers held together by a black tar-like goo, the goo creature's luminous purple main body is all but shrouded in darkness. The only places the luminous purple goo peaks through the outer body is Anathema's eyes, mouth, and occasional gaps between feathers. Anathema's face is corvid in appearance, with hard claws for for their forehooves and an amorphous mass of goo for the hindquarters (usually covered by her large wings). Incapable of actual flight, Anathema walks with a hunched figure much like a vulture does.
  20. Anathema was once a griffon warlock, seeking to gain mastery over death and break the natural cycle of life. In her studies, she came across the mysterious force known as the Rot, a crippling disease that when physically and mentally embraced, provides the bearer with otherworldy power at the cost of their sanity. Having willingly given her body and mind long ago to the Rot, Anathema became the distorted creature she is today. Despite her appearance and dark magics, Anathema has no such goals such as taking over the world or to kill unnecessarily, only to grow more powerful and eventually conquer death itself. Ever the altruist, Anathema is all too happy to share her discovery of the Rot with others, wishing to observe their own corruption and study it in order to learn more of the dark force. She encourages her allies to fight against the notion of death, to embrace their greed and defy the natural order that the world would try to impose upon them. When it comes to fighting her enemies, she pushes the power of the Rot into them a bit more 'forcefully', eroding away at their body and soul until nothing remains but black ooze for her to reanimate as a minion.
