BACKGROUND / Miyoung was born in Daegu, South Korea. She lived there until she was 4 because her and her dad broke up. She hasn't seen her dad since then.her family then moved to Seoul when her mom got offered a raise which moved them to Seoul. She is the youngest out of the 3 kids her mom has her older siblings helped take care of her when she was little. She always used to sing around her house, she even got to the point where she would sing answers in class. She stopped that after she got a detention and had to clean the class room after school. Before she joined YG she was in a Miss A cover group that would perform outside in the streets of Seoul and at school events. She was scouted by Yg while she was performing and eventually her mo  let her audition for it.
