What's this category? Just "speedruns" in the title?

+ This is what I like to call to 40 orb. But some confusion exists since I'm not using Gulp Skip in it -- a ~10 minute time saver, due to the way the category was before Gulp Skip's discovery and how most people prefer to play it. A more accurate title, as it seems to be currently going by, is "Any% No Boss Skips" -- Boss Skips meaning of course skipping into bosses, not skipping the fights themselves.

+ No, this was a very popular category back in like 2011-2013. If you're fairly new to my channel there's a good chance you've never seen it before. Haven't touched it for a long time. Basically the run aims to collect the fastest 40 of the game's 64 orbs to open the Ripto door and beat the game.

What the hell are you trying to do? Why did you just reset?

+ Odds are I'm going for a proxy jump, where I attain massive height and get to somewhere I need to be. I will admit I've grown terrible at most of these in my time away from the game, and the runs will be rather embarrassing and reset-heavy for a while... Practice will come in the sheer number of attempts I guess!

Well is there any new stuff since the years you talked about earlier, like from 2013?

+ Loads. My old 49:40 is on YouTube somewhere. The route you see now will be completely different. Most notably a few orbs swapped around (the addition of Crystal Glacier Spiders & Magma Cone Party Poopers being /very/ new) as well as a recent discovery led by Breakingu and Touval that involves using the theatre in Dragon Shores to view the final cutscene and gain all abilities (swim, climb, headbash).
