Home at last

>"C'mon, Anon, I know you can move faster than that!" teased a small voice from behind you.
>You feel a light head but to the back of your knee nearly causing you to stumble blindly to the ground.
"It would help if I could see where I'm going." you reply with a laugh.
>From your right side comes another voice, "Well if we didn't blindfold you it would ruin the surprise!"
"Just don't let me fall into the river like last time."
>An extra little giggle comes from your left side along with the other two.
>After a number of unsure steps and what seemed like more than a few confused direction changes your halted by a sudden "Stop!" from all three.
>"Wait for it...  Wait..  OK! Now you can look!" you hear in Applebloom's easily recognizable accent.
>You lift the blindfold to see standing before you Sweety Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom posing together in front of... well, you're not quite sure at first.
>It takes only a moment but the oddly shaped bundles of hay and sticks wrapped in crudely stitched cloth quickly take on a familiarity.
>You look to the hastily painted urban backdrop full of shapes and colors that seem not quite right.
>It all comes together and collides directly in the center of your heart. It's your old home. Complete with people, cars, and what you can only assume to be a plane in the sky.
>The three girls watch you with anticipation as your eyes quickly fill with tears.
>You think about what it was like to live in a world full of your own kind. You kind of miss it until you realize that you can't think of a single person back there who would have gone to this much trouble just for you.
>The tears overflow your eyes and stream down your cheeks. The last thing you see before you wipe your eyes is three quickly deflating smiles.
>"Way to go. We made him even more home sick." Scootaloo disparages.
"Nono, girls, I love it. I really do."
>" Then why are you crying?" Sweet Belle asks.
>You sniffle and wipe more tears away.
"Home is where the ones who love you are. I didn't realize it until now but.. I am home."
>With that you fall to your knees. With a collective "Awww!" the three little fillies run up and hug tackle you.
>All smiles and laughs now you feel that you've never been happier in all your life.
