- New scrolls, obtainable via the scroll shop:
- Pylons
- A Spark-type entry hazard. When a Doodle gets sent out into a Pylons, they take damage equivalent from a same level Doodle with 80 Base Magic Attack using a magical 40 power spark type move.
- This means Earth-types are immune, and Doodles with Conductor get a magical boost if there are pylons on their side of the field!
- Somnambulism
- This move only works while the user is sleeping. The user randomly selects another move it knows to use.
- **Move changes
- Careless Assault
- Changed to a recoil move, does 50% of the damage dealt to the user
- Bee Summon
- 1/8 of current health --> 1/10 of max health, can now cause Doodles to faint
- Thunder Strike
- 20% chance paralysis > 10% chance paralysis
- **Buffs**
- Squonk
- +Boo (print)
- Somberock
- + Aurora Flash (print move)
- Somberock-A
- +5 Magic Attack
- Anubeetle:
- Shale -> Hit-n-Run
- Partybug-A
- Archmage:
- For the rest of the battle, this Doodle and its allies have 10% more attack and magical attack.
- (used to be magical attack and magical defense)
- Velodo
- 90 Attack -> 95 Attack
- 82 Speed -> 92 Speed
- Marigrimm
- Aparrition
- This Doodle’s Basic-type moves become Spirit-type.
- Calamander
- 62 Magic Attack -> 72 Magic Attack
- Meltimaw
- Sharp Fangs -> Scarf Down
- Endovul
- 75 HP > 85 hp
- 65 Attack > 55 Attack
- Megortles
- 80 Attack > 95 Attack
- 72 Magic Attack > 77 Magic Attack
- 88 Magic Defense > 80 Mdef
- Herbivore > Robust
- Mammolten
- Form change is permanent for the rest of the battle after using a Fire-type move
- Gowatt

- Learns Bestial Wrath at level 65
- Glubbie

- Ethereal > Healthy Toxins
- Healthy Toxins: If there's Acid Rain, heals 10% of max Hp at the end of each turn
- Vixalor
- 73 HP > 78 HP
- 87 Speed > 97 Speed
- +Dispose (print move)
- Swoptar
- 55 Magic defense > 65 magic defense
- 87 speed > 97 speed
- +War Cry (print move)
- Jelluminous
- 84 hp > 94 hp
- 76 def > 81 def
- Ostigon
- Antivenom > Dust Storm
- Dust Storm now makes the user immune to Sandstorm
- Klydaskunk
- 75 Attack > 85 Attack
- 80 Magic Attack > 90 Magic Attack
- Bionotic
- 90 Defense > 95 Defense
- Bionotic has its niche w Nullify, and I think its best application is anti-weather. With the emergence of Sand, I think some extra defense could give it a small buff to accomodate for the addition of Pylons
- Taryonix
- 70 Defense > 75 Defense
- 75 Magic Defense > 70 Magic Defense
- 40 Speed > 50 Speed
- +Venom Bite (scroll move)
- Suomous
- 93 Speed > 105 Speed
- Jellupy
- +Protect (print)
- Cthuwu/Cruthulu/Ctholos now can have Stormwater as a possible trait.
- Ctholos
- 55 Speed > 60 Speed
- Moyai
- Fortified > Sand Swap
- During a Sandstorm, swap this Doodle's Attack and Defense stats.
- Pebblett/Boulduo/Monolugg
- Blinding Rocks > Sand Shield
- This Doodle can't be inflicted with Status effects during a Sandstorm.
- Staligant-A
- Mental Momentum
- After doing damage with an attack, this Doodle\'s Mind-type attacks get stronger.
- Previously, Mental Momentum would only activate after using a Mind-type move. After this, you can use any damaging move to boost Staligant's Mind-type attack power.
- Junipyro
- +Quick Thinking
- Nerfs:
- Trait -
- Refresh
- When this doodle is swapped out, they heal themselves for 50% of their missing health.
- The Refresh change shouldn’t have a crazy high impact unless games go on for super long, which should help lead S1 away from a stall meta. The main Doodle this will affect is Girasera. Girasera still has great utility, and while this change will hurt it, Girasera isn’t going away anytime soon
- Refreshed Resilience is not being changed at all.
- Tulenna-A
- 125 Attack > 120 Attack
- 125 Magic Attack > 120 Magic Attack
- Tulenna-A is arguably the strongest awakened Doodle currently, and its attack already gains a buff from Toxicity which effectively allows it to 2HKO most Doodles. I worry that Tulenna has the potential to become oppressive when S1 rolls around, so I think it’s best to get the jump on it without making it slightly weaker
- Roadterra
- 111 Speed > 105 Speed
- Roadterra is hard to balance due to Confidence, but one of its main strengths right now is that it can just be sent in, go “ah darn” and then outspeed the opponent before switching out. By lowering its speed, it has less room to squeeze out of disadvantageous matchups for free
- Corrolizard
- 120 Magic Attack > 110 Magic Attack
- Corrolizard excels at clearing hazards with Corrosion due to its natural Lingering Poison removal, and its 120 MAtk makes it hard to switch into. With the addition of Pylons, Corrolizard could very easily dominate the meta with its offenses and utility. Cursed Cloak sets additionally allow it to serve as a magical wall, which allows Corrolizard to take full advantage of its coverage options & MAtk. By taking away - 10 MAtk, Corrolizard will become easier to deal with while also still maintaining its niche and overall being a great Doodle
- Potterfield
- Sand Screen
- 50% damage reduction > 30% damage reduction
- 60 Attack > 70 Attack
- 75 Magic Attack > 80 Attack
- Sand Screen is a very strong ability, and with the rise of sand I think it’s worth adjusting Potterfiend to focus more on what it does best, which is clicking Armor Break and hitting stuff hard. Sand Screen will still be good, but I worry that left unchanged Potterfiend could become overwhelming fairly quickly, especially with Pylons in the picture to hurt Water-types
- Desdog
- 100 Speed > 94 Speed
- Skadean-A
- 110 Defense > 105 Magic Defense
- 110 Magic Defense > 105 Magic Defense
- Skadean-A does lose its defense buff when it switches out, but still, 95/110/110 bulk with 100 MAtk and an automatic +1 MAtk is very very strong. I think it could afford to lose some defenses while still maintaining its strength, making it easier to chip down. At the very least, I think that Skadean-A should be very closely monitored
- Grimantle
- 120 Magic Defense > 115 Magic Defense
- Grimantle is currently one of the strongest Doodles in S0 due to its bulk, recovery, and utility. It has a 58% winrate, and pretty much everything else in that range is getting hit with a nerf. Grimantle will arguably receive a buff with the release of Pylons, as hazard clearing will become more important and Grimantle is an excellent choice at doing so. I think leaving Grimantle untouched headed into S1 is a bad idea. It can be hotfixed if it becomes overbearing, but - 5 MDef should be fine for now I guess
- Fruitoad
- 107 HP > 100 HP
- Infurnius
- Menacing Snarl > Karna
- Karna: This Doodle takes 50% less damage from Earth-type attacks. When this Doodle gets hit with an Earth-type attack, boost a random stat.
- Karna can NOT boost accuracy or evasion.
- Koriyu
- -Quick Ice
- +Assail
- Groato-A
- 126 Attack > 115 Attack
- Defense 85 > 80
- Thornet
- -Piercing Ice
- +Assail
- Owol
- Guardian
- When this Doodle enters battle, it takes 25% less damage until it uses a move, and then 25% more after it uses a move.
- Zerzura
- -Disarm
- I'm keeping a close eye on Zerzura. If it still is overbearing, the Detox heal might have to be reduced. As it stands, it walls any Doodle that doesn't hit it super effectively.

- I feel like the nerf to Koryiu was jus a slap In the face man, Its usage is already low and now it is literally unusable. Also why did thornet have to get nerfed again along with groato, they are both extremely fun to use and Thornet didnt deserve to lose piercing ice.
