Chapter Two - Terrible Practice

Picking up from the last Chapter, Linnea uses a phone in a public library to contact Terry, confirming he should be at the same Hotel in two hours. Arriving at the scene -early-, she is greeted by a different employee, Linnea attempts to interrogate regarding Terry, but is instantly shot down. Then asking if the female worker is made uncomfortable by the men that frequent, but the topic is quickly dismissed.

Linnea waits.
The employee leaves to go use the bathroom, leaving only a sign in presence of their absence.
Linnea goes around the desk, and is able to successfully use the computer to locate transactions done on Terry's card in less than the 3 minutes before the worker returned.
Several names are collected from usage in the last month.

Linnea waits.
A fair woman named Yaliche checks out, as a man leaves around the same time as her. The name matches one from the list.
Linnea attempts to head out of the Hotel, only to find that Terry was in the process of pulling in with another girl.
Yaliche and Linnea bump into each other, Yaliche gawks at her, the two separate briefly as Linnea hurried inside.

Terry confronts Linnea inside, and poses his intentions of needing to find her a man to spend the night with, given how hasty she was. While Terry uses the restroom himself, Linnea and Yaliche meet back up to speak on attire, appearances, names, Big Terry as a boss, and even exchanging their numbers. Yaliche was a far more comfortable person to talk to compared to the blonde from the previous chapter.

Yaliche leaves, commenting she needs to rest for work tonight. Terry beckons Linnea to the hotel staircase, and leads her down a flight to an Employee use area. Taking a stricter tone with Linnea, he recounts meeting Gary, the pervert from the last chapter, and hearing how broken up he was from the change in his world, how he almost took his own life over it and still might. Terry lingers on the detail of how much money is being missed out on, being Gary had so much to throw around.

Linnea has a breaking point, unable and unwilling to keep posing as the vulnerable woman she is seen as. Terry provokes and hits her, but Linnea talks back and charges Caelestum. Terry, believing her words to imply she is working undercover, makes a break for it.

A chase ensues up the stairs, Linnea keeps pace, but is knocked over when a man is thrown at her, and she decided to catch him instead of dodging out of the way. Despite this major setback, she gains a strong stride that lets her scale the stairs and catch up as Terry flees on the fourth floor.

Overcoming the remaining obstacles, she catches up, dodging Terry's attempt to knock her over and casting a fully charged Caelestum, intent to dominate him and have him submit himself to her. With the full 3 dots of potency he becomes unable to resist her orders from this point onward. An elderly man clues to the situation but is easily dismissed by the two aligning their stories.

They leave the Hotel, entering Terry's car, she has him drive her to his apartment, and is now openly expressing her dislike for his career and how he handles it. Once they get inside his home he tries everything he can to relax, drinking and smoking. Learning he is only worth around 35,000$ she has him part with 300$ to all his girls, by app or by paper, and orders him to discontinue his work in prostitution, to which he can not resist.

Linnea learns of a third party group that got Terry into the gig while also railroading where he could and couldn't do his work.
Linnea tells Terry to blame her when questioned, and to include her affiliation to Elizabeth despite his confusion.
After leaving the apartment, Linnea receives some concerning texts from Yaliche about how bad this turn of events was, but has yet to receive a more significant lead on the details.
