Once Upon a Time

In ye olden days, back in January of 2008, when women weren’t freely allowed on the internet, 15 year old GaiaOnline user
M o l d yLunchboxx, turned on their Kodak family camera, slapped on her eyeliner and made a couple of YouTube videos proclaiming her love and adoration for some friends she had made on the aforementioned website.

For about a year those videos lived their lives as intended: as obscure multimedia on a couple of anime nerd’s (<3) profile pages.

...2008 was a different time, okay?

Until one day, someone posted one of the videos to i-am-bored.com, and from there quickly made its way over to 4chan.org/b/. Due to her energetic and loving nature, rapid fire expressions and sporadic but apt gestures the internet quickly split down the middle either loving or hating her. Proclaiming that she was either most certainly their wife to be, or that she was an annoying breed of Internet Cancer that needed to be slain with fire.

9 days into 2009, the mysterious racoon eyed girl uploaded a third video gifted from her to everyone, speaking with trademark enthusiasm and love to 4chan and the internet itself.  To summarize:

Her name is Boxxy. She is not trollin’.
However, in a ~shocking~ plot twist, she actually was trollin’ the whole time.

FOAR EVERYWUN FRUM BOXXY was by far the most viral of the Boxxy videos. In fact, by the 10th of January, one day after the posting of the video, the Boxxy posts compiled of pure hatred and intense love had gotten so plentiful on 4chan that it DDoS’d itself in an attempt to control the Boxxy chaos. Before long just saying the name “Boxxy” was a bannable offense.
