WNDR: A New Beginning

after a drunken bender during new years with a couple friends, drunk me decided to start a chill popup for some reason. but as i became more sober it felt like now would be the time to debut a project I've been playing around with for a while.

but first i want to say thank you for everyone who I've met for being able to show me what this community has to offer. without all of you i would've just stuck to the same old tracks I've been listening to for far too long. regardless of what you spin all of what you do has given me a reason to care about music again and i couldn't be more thankful. with that said i would like to present a personal project of mine that i have been wanting to do for a long time. with everything this community has shown me this is my attempt to give back.

WNDR is my own personal venue that mainly takes inspiration from ra.in, gym lights, and a couple of other venues mainly focused on downtempo music. i am still working on how i will schedule these events but i feel like that will come in time. one thing that is for sure is that i want to stick with a 6pm start cause i feel like that time will be a good point for both NA and EU to come together. on top of that i want to do more open decks to give people who wanted to dj downtempo, both old and new, a chance to be able to mix.

that said i would like to once again thank everyone in this community and my friends for being able to show me what this community is truly capable of. regardless of how 2023 turns out, this community has been able to show me why i cared about music to begin with and i am eternally grateful to everyone involved. with that said expect more from me soon though the when and what is yet to be decided, but hey the year is still young. happy new years and stay tuned for more folks.
