The sudden change in lifestyle shocked five-year-old Kyung so she kept herself hidden between large black-framed glasses and her nose buried inside her textbook the in school, she was too ashamed that she couldn't speak the language fluently and it wasn't helping that people would attempt to speak english because they thought that she wasn't able to understand.
