The moment he had seen her new form he’d nearly fainted. What a wonderful sight! Magestic! Awe inspiring! Not merely in a book, no, but a serious honest to goodness chicken-

Errr dragon, dragon right? Yeah that’s right, those things fabled in myths! His dream to see one achieved! Hichi had mentioned people being descended from dragons- but to turn into one? And who would it be but Alina!

Excitement oozing off him in spades after the battle was over, Felix took to walking around in circles oblivious to stares, before finally dashing off to find her.(edited)

Alina shook her fur like a dog, shaking a few ice crystals off. She felt quite proud that she had bought the weapons for Anja, and happily set them down on one of the convoy carts. Since she was such a good girl, maybe she'd even get a tummy rub. In the distance, the shopkeeper's screams could still be heard, but that didn't bother Alina.

After a minute of prancing around, Alina saw the nice funny guy that gave her cookies run up to her. He wondered what he wanted, but she didn't mind. She was a dragon, not a wyvern so it should be alright.

Felix had left his mech behind, but he did have a notebook clutched in his hands.

“Ah!!!” He yelled, but not like the shopkeeper, more of a girlish sort of...fan scream? Yes that was a way to describe it. For now he was mostly speechless just processing the sight of the fur like dragon-dog-chicken. He gave up trying to figure out what this form was analogous to.

Alina tilted her head, unsure exactly what Felix was supposed to be. Scared? Happy? Hungry? Did he bring his cookie jar with him?

Felix thought for a moment. Could Alina understand him in that form? So many questions to be answered. How exciting!

Alina nodded, and shook her fur again. Of course she could understand him in this form. Anja would have nightmares if Alina didn’t understand her at all. She already didn’t listen to Anja that much anyways.

Felix pumped his fist in success.

“A-m-a-z-i-n-g!”  He stressed the word, flipped his notebook open skillfully and jotted down a note for himself.

From the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of Bernard, who looked about to speak up before shaking his head and going off to check the wounded. Felix sort of rolled his eyes for his moment, that old man was always needlessly worrying about things.

“Hmmm wanna answer a few of my questions? I’ve got some snacks back at Mekodoragon.” He pointed towards the distance.

Alina wasn’t sure what Felix was doing with his notebook, but it looked like he was having fun. Almost like he was celebrating. Alina couldn’t really celebrate for him, but she could definitely celebrate with him.

“GWAA!”

She gave her ear a scratch with her front arms, and  scratched until she heard the word snacks.

She didn’t know what kind of snacks he had, but Alina liked snacks. Now excited, Alina bounced left and right.

“Onward march then! Haha!” Felix led the way back to Mekodoragon, he fiddled a bit with it and out popped a little glove compartment, and with it Felix extracted a bag.

“Snack Attack time!” He tossed a treat into the air. Sugar, egg, cream, flour, cinnamon. Being part of the castle had its perks, these types of things were hard to get in war time, but now a snickerdoodle flew threw the air at Alina, who only needed to grab it out of the air.

Gotta see what kinda teeth she has in this form...hmm.

Alina bounced after Felix happily, her fluff bouncing along after. Snacks~ Snacks~ Snacks for days~

The cookie bounced against her nose, ending up landing on top of her head.

“Gw-Gw-Gw-GWACHUU!”

Alina sneezed, launching the cookie into the air and freezing it.

Alina poked the frozen cookie on the ground, a bit less interested in snacks. Sue she would love them as a human, but she wasn't really human at the moment.

"Kuaaaaaa..."

She lowered herself next to Felix, and nuzzled his shoulder. She appreciated the effort, maybe she'd eat his cookies later. But in this form, she wanted meat.

Felix stroked the beast gently, kind of in a daze. Well that’s what he though the nuzzle was for, she wanted to be pat right? He had no clue about the meat.

She’d be at it for a while, that compartment was booby trapped, requiring a specific input method unless you wanted an unfortunate accident. Namely a splattering of oil. No one messes with a sugar stash.

Felix hummed to himself, thinking on the plethora of things to ask. Too many- and it seemed Alina didn’t want to turn back into human form- there was something he wanted to get...

This was a definite repeat of the Cheshire incident, and Felix complied with the tummy rubbing. Which if you think about it, has sort of weird implications with the whole morphing back and forth thing. But this was Felix, so he wasn’t thinking.

Alina purred a bit more, and then finally rolled back onto her feet once she was content.

With a yawn and a cold flash of light, Alina returned back to her human form, with Cookie the narwhal in her arms. She shuffled back to Felix and looked at the cookie compartment before looking back at Felix.

“Well I mean you transformed for all to see! I’m sure this is no biggy now.” Gods a dragon, they weren’t supposed to be real, this was amazing!

“Anyway Hichi is the hired help, maybe you’ll see her around. She hides her features like you.”

He walked over to the normal packs he had slung over his mech and withdrew something.

“So uh- Alina. Would it be possible if....if I could get your measurements!” That item was measuring tape, and he certainly looked excited.

She twirled away from Felix, her little side tail flopping with her. She didn’t feel like transforming anymore.

“Alright, let’s see.” Good thing he had gloves. He checked each individual tooth, even knocking on them lightly, which might have been a strange sensation. Still while he wanted measurements, he also wished to see if there were any....cavities. All those sweets.
