Fusion-X Gimmick Idea: Merge Crystals and Crystallo Forms

What are Merge Crystals?: The Merge Crystals are 27 special crystals made of crystallized energy that embody the twenty-seven Merge Mode Series, created by Alloy’s creator to transform Merge Modes into ultra powerful forms known as Crystallo Forms when in a pinch, transforming them by making contact. Crystallo Forms are when Merge Modes take on a crystallized appearance and acquire a crown-like headpiece that matches that particular Merge Mode, such as Inferno Merge gaining a crown of crystal fire or Flora Mergr gaining a giant crystal flower on her head. While in their Crystallo Forms, Merge Modes not only gain a massive power boost but also gain unique variations of Crystallokinesis that matches their abilities, manifesting and manipulating crystal imbued with elemental properties or with specific traits such as Toxicity Merge being able to create highly toxic, poison crystals and Merge Modes can form them into unique shapes and constructs such as Crystallo Hungry Merge being able to create giant floating, crystal jaws. Crystallo Forms also gain an enhanced state of durability and invulnerability, gaining diamond hard bodies that are immune to many hazards such as certain elements, toxins, disease, intense pressure, xtreme temperatures etc. Crystallo Forms also gain an enhanced resistance to certain weaknesses they may have had in their regular forms. Crystallo Forms are temporary and have a time limit, lasting for about 15 minutes after transforming. Merge Modes can also execute an xtremely powerful finishing move known as their “Diamond Daze” move, the form that their Diamond Daze takes depends on the Merge Mode, it takes all of a Crystallo Form’s energy to execute a Diamond Daze and they will revert back to their original form after using it. Merge Mode that are already crystal-based change slightly in appearance such as Crystalline Merge who becomes rainbow colored.

Onawa keeps the Merge Crystals in a jewelry box that was given to them by Ava, a former assistant and would-be wife of Alloy’s creator. Whenever Fusion-X needs to crystallize, Onawa will throw one of the crystals to him. Merge Crystals are also directly tied to Blank Merge, a unique Merge Mode that has access to very powerful forms when one of the Merge Crystals is placed in the bell on their collar. Fighter - Fighter Blank Merge resembles a larger and burlier version of Blank Merge with a brown and maroon color scheme, red eyes and very long, hand-like ears and a fist-like tail that can be used like fists to deliver xtremely powerful strikes in it’s quadrupedal, Animalistic Combat, said tail and ears can stretch very long distances to strike and grapple things from afar, Fighter Blank Mode’s body is made entirely of ultra dense, tightly woven synthetic muscles that give it xtreme levels of strength, durability, endurance and speed that make him more than a match for most foes in direct combat.

Speedster - Speedster Blank Merge is a thinner and sleeker version of Blank Merge with a green and white color scheme, a fluffy collar of green fur, green almond-shaped eyes and lightning bolt-shaped ears and tail. Speedster Blank Mode’s body is composed entirely of solidified kinetic energy and is capable of manipulating kinetic energy and vectors to achieve ludicrous speeds and control the speed and direction of everything around him. Speedster Merge can also use Speed Combat, using his sharp ears and tail combined with his faster-than-light speed to attack with precise, razor sharp cutting and slashing attacks that most foes will not be able to anticipate or counter due to the sheer speedster Speedster Blank Merge can travel.

Elemental - Elemental Blank Merge resembles a larger version of Blank Merge resembling a Liondog and possessing a ring around his body with five drums attached, each with their symbol representing an element. Elemental Blank Merge has the power of Wu Xing Manipulation, making them capable of manipulating the five elements associated with the Chinese philosophy concept of Wu Xing, these being Wood, Fire, Earth, Water and Metal, Elemental Blank Merge can manifest, manipulate and attack with these five elements by striking one or more of the drums on his ring, striking two drums at the same time will allow Elemental Blank Merge to combine two elements together to create a new one, such as combining Fire and Earth to create Magma, giving them a very wide range of capabilities and their elemental power is so great that it rivals Ele-Mental Merge and his control over the elements of Godai.

Energy - Energy Blank Merge is a taller and thinner Blank Merge with a lime green and light blue color scheme, balls of pure energy around their neck like a necklace and flame-like ears, feet and tail. Energy Blank Merge has the power of Plasma Manipulation, capable of generating and manipulating plasma which is pure energy through a scientific perspective, this control over plasma gives Energy Blank Merge access to exceptionally powerful attacks and a very wide range of other powerful abilities as plasma is present in almost everything such as Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Matter Manipulation, Gas Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Radiation Manipulation, Thermal Manipulation, control over stars, nebulas and auroras etc.

Defensive - Defensive Blank Merge resembles a large armored cat with a mace tipped tail and sharp, metallic ears. Defensive Merge has the powers of Absolute Defense and Defense Bestowal, being nigh-indestructible and completely immune to most of not all known hazards and being capable of manifesting ultra durable and resistant armor onto allies to give them a considerable defensive edge by touching them as well as giving them mighty shields capable of projecting force fields and protective barriers as well, Defensive Blank Merge has a considerable lack of strength and combat ability, being a mostly defensive form but they can use their mace-like tail as a serviceable weapon.

Weaponry - Weaponry Blank Merge has a camouflage pattern and color scheme of greens and browns, wears a helmet, has a large sentry-like cannon on their back, a tail resembling a high tech chainsaw and rings of bullet-like cannon shells on their wrists. Weaponry Merge has the power of Artillery Manipulation, capable of spawning and manipulating all sorts of guns, cannons and artillery in a similar fashion to Weaponize Merge as well as possessing a very powerful, multi-purpose Ultima Cannon on their back capable of launching a wide variety of different ammunition such as explosive rounds, piercing shells, acidic bullets, cryogenic bullets, electric bullets, ricocheting rubber bullets and much, much more. Weaponry Merge is capable of firing hundreds of firearms at once, controlling them in a telekinetic fashion.

Tech - Tech Blank Merge has a gold and silver color scheme with a yellow circuitry pattern on their body and three tails resembling a pair of Aux cables. Tech Blank Merge has the power of Cyberspace Manipulation, allowing them to control cyberspace, a dimension that connects all forms of technology all throughout the universe, giving Tech Blank Merge godlike control over technology and a very wide range of abilities relating to cyberspace and technology such as program manipulation, AI manipulation, virus manipulation, firewall manipulation, downloading manipulation, cyberspace constructs, cyberspace reset, cyberspace travel, data manipulation, digital materialization into the physical realm as part of his Awakening, electricity manipulation, mechanical intuition, nigh omniscience in cyber-space, connect reality to the virtual world, virtual particle manipulation, virtual reality manipulation, technology manipulating/reconfiguring/modification/augmentation/assimilation, electromagnetic pulse manipulation, technology possession, technological constructs, programming, technological telekinesis/telepathy/teleportation etc.

Science - Science Blank Merge has a body shape similar to Liepard from Pokémon and each segment of their body is composed of a different material/element such as sand, metal, an unknown purple fluid etc. Science Blank Merge has a wide array of Periodic Table Powers, being capable of generating, manipulating and mimicking any element on the periodic table and use them in a wide range of ways to a very powerful degree such as attacks, constructs, transmutation, gas generation, mixing elements together, manipulating chemical reactions and much, much more. Science Blank Merge also possesses a malleable anatomy and an impressive degree of Shapeshifting, being composed of many different elements.

Sorcery - Sorcery Blank Merge bares a slight resemblance to Espeon with a purple and violet color scheme, bird-like wings, red gems on their wrists, chest and forehead and wearing a witch’s hat. Sorcery Blank Merge has the power of a Mystical Aid, possessing an incredible high abundance of Mana in their system, Sorcery Blank Merge can heavily augment the magical abilities and spells of magic users, allowing them to also instantly perform powerful and complex spells without needing to charge up or use any magical artifacts, Sorcery Blank Merge can also perform said spells with said magic user to drastically increase and augment the results. Sorcery Blank Merge possesses an impressive degree of Magical prowess and Mana Manipulation themselves as well.

Beast - Beast Blank Merge resembles a chimeric mix of many beasts and animals, having a reptilian lower body with insectoid hind legs and a mammalian upper body with bird-like legs, a fish-like tail, horns like a gazelle, one bird-like wing and one bat-like wing etc. Beast Blank Merge has the power of Beast Creation, being capable of manifesting and controlling unique animal-like beasts possessing fantastical qualities and abilities such as rhino-like creature with drills for horns, giants ants that have a symbiotic relationship with a highly toxic psychic fungus, a giant salamander-like creature with a spiked tail that can be used for a club etc. Beast Blank Merge can summon up to ten of these amazing beasts at a time.

Insect - Insect Blank Merge resembles a large and lean insectoid version of Blank Merge with dragonfly-like qualities, large compound eyes, a large pair of insectoid wings, long butterfly-like antenna, a thorax instead of a tail and two-clawed feet. Insect Blank Merge has the power of Insect Manipulation and Mimicry, being Living Hive capable of spawning and controlling a wide range of insect-like creatures and is capable of spawning Natural Weaponry from their body such as Mantis-like arm blades, massive jaws similar to a Leaf Cutter Ant as well as mimicking the traits of many insect species such as generating and manipulating large amounts of silk or spraying caustic fluid from their abdomen like a Bombardier Beetle. Insect Blank Merge is capable of flying at speeds of 600 MPH and is a very acrobatic flyer as well.

Plant - Plant Blank Merge bares a resemblance to Leafeon with leaf-like ears but with a large venus flytrap for a tail, sundew plants around their neck like a collar, a large plant bud on their back with four large leaves and large thorns growing on their legs with thorn-like claws. Plant Blank Merge has the power of Chlorophyll Manipulation, being capable of manipulating chlorophyll and the solar energy that their chlorophyll absorbs from the sun, Plant Blank Merge can concentrate the solar energy their chlorophyll and the chlorophyll of other plants has absorbed and use it to project powerful beams, balls and discs of solar energy, these solar energy attacks can also be used to effect plant life in positive ways as well as against enemies offensively. Plant Blank Merge can manipulate all forms of plant life via the generation and utilization of plant hormones, pheromones and pure chlorophyll, capable of controlling the properties of plant life such as their size, capable of making plants grow to gigantic sizes, make fruit and vegetables grow at an accelerated pace and even animate and move plant life to his will, this applies to plant based beings as well.

Monster - Monster Blank Merge resembles a more traditional version of the Cat Sith, resembling a black cat with orange eyes, a wide grinning smile full of sharp teeth and wearing a purple bow tie and top hat with a purple rim. Monster Blank Merge has the power of Monster Manipulation and Mimicry, being capable of manifesting and manipulating Monster Essence (the life energy of all monsters) and form it into monsters of all types and varieties whether it be vampires, werebeasts, frankenstenian monsters, mummies, zombies, ghosts, fairies, goblins etc. and command them in their own personal monster army, Monster Blank Merge can also mimic the traits and limbs of monsters as well. Monster Blank Merge can also attack with Monster Essence by protecting it to a wide variety of attacks including monster shaped constructs.

Dragon - Dragon Blank Merge resembles a Draconic version of Blank Merge with a color scheme similar to Salamence from Pokémon and possessing mighty red wings and matching horns. Dragon Blank Merge has the power of Draconic Energy Manipulation, capable of generating, manipulating and projecting powerful energy associated with dragons to many powerful attacks such as beams, balls, crescents, twisters/vortexes and even giant, dragon shaped constructs, Dragon Blank Merge can also imbue his physical attacks with draconic energy such as perform powerful horn-based and ramming attacks imbued with draconic energy and they can even transform this draconic energy into Draconic Fire, mystical flames imbued with draconic energy capable of burning/disintegrating practically anything. Dragon Blank Mergr possesses incredible strength, durability, endurance and slight speed that is typical of Dragon Series Mergr Modes.

Yokai - Yokai Blank Merge is very large and resembles a Nue, a chimeric Yokai that resembles a mix between a lion and a bird with an entire live snake for a tail. Yokai Blank Merge has the power of

Shapeshifter - Shapeshifter Blank Merge is made entirely out of a green and black goo/fluid with goopy looking ears and tail. Shapeshifter Blank Merge has the power of Transmutation.
