The Nintendo CRAZE

* What is The Nintendo CRAZE?
All Nintendo, All the time! Yes, I will be playing through the NES library. My stream is dedicated to the Nintendo Entertainment System.

* Are there any limitations on what games you play?
Absolutely not! I intend to play through all games whether licenced or unlicensed, whether released in North America or only in Japan. If I can play it on the NES console then it will most likely be played at some point. The scope of the project is left open so as not to eliminate good games such as Goonies, Moon Crystal, Recca, Holy Diver, or similar to US versions such as Akemajou Densetsu. There are even English translation patches for Japanese RPGs, really good Homebrews, and rom hacks. Why not?

* Are you just planning on beating the game?
Absolutely not! I will be learning each of the games that I play on my stream. I wanted to bring the best out of each games, make them come alive, and offer enjoyable high level game play, something which I would not be able to do if I were to blindly crawl through it while burning through lives and continues. I want to make a strong contribution to each of the games I play. While I do not have a strict criteria for each game I will aim for a strong goal such as the following:
1) Deathless Speedrun
2) Any% Speedrun
3) Achieve World Record
4) Find a new strategy
5) Create a tutorial

* How far are you into this project?
Technically I began slowly playing NES games around January 2015 but it really wasn't until around June 11th, 2017 that I uploaded my first completed run of deathless Batman, which was my 17th game beaten. I have completed over 90 games, as of 8/20/2018, and I continue to slowly move through the library at whatever pace is most suitable to my gaming goals. Sometimes I will go back to a game I have already played to improve my time or spend a couple months working on a single game. I have no projected end date for the project and personally I do not want it to end so I am trying to get the most out of the journey as I possibly can and hope I never complete it.

* How do you determine what game you play?
I do not wish to be confined to any one factor. While I may post a poll asking for the opinions of those willing to vote, I have several factors that may simply override the poll. I may have more interest in another game or I need to aim for shorter games to help break up longer ones. Simply put, I play what I want to play, but I do consider the viewers beyond the voters, and I consider trends and general popularity as well. But rest assured you the viewer will have an influence.
