- Prologue
- Life
- This isn't a story about heroes or two friends. This isn't a story about a bunch of people banding together to overcome a problem within a civilization. This is a story of a legend of the people. A legend of a hero. No, not like in a video game or anything. This legend is real. Let me start from the beginning. A small band of settlers came here from the Theta quadrant, to a planet called Belmōsh. They farmed the land, and had children and eventually became our ancestors. We renamed the planet after our first industrial company, SilverCom. However, since the beginning of science on our planet, scientists have urged us to call it RYC-138. Suffice it to say, we didn't. And so begins the story of Belmōsh's greatest warriors.
- It was a long time ago, but the Silvish remember the tale quite well. At the peak of a civil war between the North and the South, the two sides had each created a super soldier out of two children. Jacob Noble and Sato Kawamichi. The South wielded the power of Light. The power of bonds, friendship, love and old world values. The north, with its high powered technology, strong military aircrafts, business and greed wielded the power of Dark.
- And so, the two went to war on the grounds of some political disagreement. Of all the children selected for the super soldier project, Sato was the only one who managed to carry out and successfully execute all tasks assigned to him. From stealing documents to assassination, he successfully did each task without question or remorse. Some of the scientists got spooked by looking at the darkness in his eyes. His eyes weren't like normal eyes. They held the power of the Void. The source of darkness that all northerners drew upon for power. Those eyes were the Eyes of Darkness. Few were able to obtain it due to the necessary requirements. Among which were murder, destruction, anarchy and pain. They were the eyes of a killing machine. No machine or man were fast enough to keep up with him with those eyes.
