  3. Round start I space myself decently for falling on top of Ed but he runs under. Maybe airdash was a good decision there especially considering his tendencies, if I didn't airdash over I'd be subject to walk under 5A.

  6. Once I get that far I should be using more super neutral jump alongside drift, to control my space instead of retreating the way I did. Especially since he can't challenge my super neutral jump from that place and he was in dash recovery as well.

  9. I employ the same tactic of dash rising j.A double jump falling airdash. Use more falling buttons instead of falling airdash (ultimately look at the screen when airdash is a good idea when it isn't).
  10. Ed constantly positions himself to threaten walk under but here he couldn't have because my double jump started from too far away he doesn't have time. This concept is important for using proper air to ground offense.
  11. After that I do a backdash, and I think this was meant to be IAD back instead.

  14. I do the same pattern AGAIN. Maybe doing the pattern over and over isn't bad but I don't think I have a good enough understanding of how far my airdash reaches. Need to hit training mode to know for sure.
  15. I think in these sorts of spots I should experiment more with using super neutral jump. Trying to gain height advantage but actually using up a double jump isn't the most solid and if my jump startup isn't being attacked then that's not a problem.
  16. I hit the 2B he throws out and get j.C over it. Does 2B actually go under j.C reliably???

  18. I think I should be confirming the situation and doing a blockstring attempt and confirming later. If I see the j.C clearly won't hit anything then jump, but if it will hit something then dial in 5A 5B etc.

  22. Ed gets hit by these 2C's at the end of strings a lot.
  23. Learn to do 2C 2A into dash 5A such that the 5A covers immediate air techs. I currently don't know this timing and get owned for it all the time.

  26. Ed reacts to j.A whiffs with his own j.A this time, but I double jump over it, drift back and get a j.C to make contact. This was good I think. It seems hard for the other C-Arc to contest this angle in the air without precommitting to a j.C before me.

  32. I think some people will try this on me though, but Ed never does.

  52. This dash j.A seems ok??? Not the worst problem but Ed normally doesn't jump to get tagged by these, so it's not very smart I think specifically vs him.
  53. He does B Sonic right when I dash j.A, so if I dash 5A'd most likely I'm getting hit.
  54. I double jump over. If I just fell from rising j.A falling j.C I don't think it would hit. Airdash back j.C could be a play here to make him block it.

  76. This is a dropped TK B Sonic. I shouldn't jump forward here though, airdash back is safer and harder to hit. I jump forward every time, I think as a passive countermeasure to people holding upforward, but I'm dialing it every time and hoping it works but Ed will just want to walk under anyway.

  90. I neutral jump but he runs so he can't do anything. I kinda see he's stuck in that double jump and try running 5A but get owned by airdash back sonic. Fortunately no counterhit so he can't convert it.

  93. I get hit, tech neutral kind of high up and double jump back. This was a terrible way to spend resources. If I'm going to tech high up I should just bet it on a falling button. Getting away so high up and burning all my air resources feels like an easy way to get chased.

  144. I think I'll stop analysing here I have learned a lot to implement. If there's any comments on what I'm thinking and if I have any bad ideas/wrong information please let me know.
