YouTube Plans for 2018

Thank you all for a great 2017! This year I really improved on the videos and managed to get at least one video every month from March to the end of the year. I'm really happy I was able to pull this off and even managed to get 2 videos a month at some points. The reason there's always a gap with my videos is because I try to put as much effort as I can in the videos and it takes a lot of time. Now it's time to talk about my plans on YouTube for 2018.


So like I said this year I did great on the videos, but you may have noticed that all the videos I made were YoshiZilla shorts with the exception of 1 series video (Mario & Luigi's Big Adventure Part 5) and 1 special video (New Year's Special 2017). The shorts are probably the easiest to make while still taking some time but they are usually not too bad, but for 2018 I would like to start making more series videos and maybe even a couple specials this time. Series and specials do take a while for the most part and the series videos take the longest.


I have a couple series planned; Mario & Luigi's Super Epic Adventure Season 2, Luigi's Mansion and Rise of the Green. "Rise of the Green" was an idea given to me a couple years ago and I still want to do it, but it will take a lot of time. "Mario & Luigi's Super Epic Adventure Season 2" I had an idea for and scripts up to episode 4, but do to my hard drive breaking I lost everything I worked on for this. I still have the same idea in my head and I haven't forgotten it so I will be able to rewrite it and maybe even make it better than before. "Luigi's Mansion" I made 2 episodes 2 years ago but canceled the project because I didn't like where the story was going, but I plan to remake it and even better than before. This are the series I have in mind of making and I would like to start one of them in 2018 is possible.


Right now I don't want to spoil anything but I am making something really big coming to my channel and it has been taking a while to do. I am still in pre production finishing the script but I am almost done. I am going to start filming this soon and believe me when I say that this is going to be a really big project. I do have the idea of making these series videos but right now this project is bigger than the series videos and I can not wait until it is done. I can't tell you what it's about or what it is but if everything goes as planned it will be released sometime before summer in 2018.


This is pretty much everything I want to talk about. So due to all these projects I just want to give a heads up that it may take longer for videos to come out. I can't say how long but if I had to guess I would say 1 video every 2 months or so. It all depends on when I get stuff done. There will still be more shorts over series videos because only making series videos wouldn't be the smartest thing.
