My comments/suggestions

1). All Tab means being able to compare runs. Being able to compare runs is the purpose of the leaderboard. All Tab does this best, even though it isn't perfect. Make room for a Peach and Duplighost tab instead of consoles.

2). Consoles are going to be compared no matter what we do. My solution is to put the community effort (instead of debate) into figuring out the lag difference on the most competitive categories and start using lag handicap timings (that we all can agree on). This would be a real and fair solution to all players whom wanna compare runs across consoles. Then if it takes the shape in form of a textbox on top of the leaderboard or implemented into the timings directly we can talk about on another time. If we don't fix this then there might be more players like ryoma who chooses not to submit to the All Tab because it would put the worse run first. And that's unfair since ryoma earned at least a 2nd place spot on the leaderboard.

3). Console split means exclusion of runners and it rips the community apart. For this reason the mods who has earlier pushed this (or failed to care anymore) should be removed from their mod. How many times have we heard that the debate has hurt the community more then the issue in itself? Polling a bunch of times just because they didn't like the result. It shows the mods clear lack of respect for the community. The mods didn't wait to change the leaderboard even though they had made a decision against the community polls. We just woke up to a changed leaderboard without any warning of any kind, it was just changed and it has made trusting the mods impossible. And a lack of trust is a big issue.

4). Days after the console split we had a debate among all Wii U runners about what kind of rules we should have for it. The result was the most anti-RTA rules I've ever seen (for real). It is painful for me to say this, but Yoshi and Giga was both fine with allowing Wii U savestates. And this will be the rules if we don't go back to an All Tab. Both Yoshi and Giga are respected mods in general, but since this is an RTA leaderboard I would love to see these players being stripped from their mods trying to make these god awful rules a reality.

5). Butterlord is fine, but shouldn't be mod since he is a new member still. Give him a full year in the community and he should have a mod IMO. The mods iycewynd, sünta and Almo are the only mods that hasn't lost trust and should therefore stay. The rest must go OUT NOW!!!

6). iirc N1 himself said that he would want the default to reflect what was competitive at the time. But we must understand that Wii U is a special console which attracts only a few runners who are ready to put their game on a new level. And its important to motivate these players to achieve too. Me, glower, yoshi and ryoma are to name a few Wii U runners. Switching console after literately 2 years of practicing is a huge undertaking (for me). The console split is ruining the leaderboard achievement reward, it ruins the sense of community and throws a lot of skill into the bin.
