- =================================================
- Pre-Kanako - Interesting that you started on the right here, I usually start at the left. Pulled off the streaming really nicely. Green diamond bullets were also handled very well and you collected plenty of items too! Popcorn fairy streaming was pretty nice, and you broke the streams to collect some items, which really helps with the Power growth. Big fairies + more streaming perfected. The next section of green diamonds had your first bomb, which is understandable because it's an annoying segment. You timed your bomb really well though, to get the most Power back from it (.90). For the big fairies after that, I didn't actually think of circling them so closely (I pretty much circle the edges of the screen). Your approach seems much more effective, I think I'll try that next time, thanks!
- Kanako - Streaming for the second spell, eh? Well, it seems to have worked fine. Last spell bomb seemed unnecessary but Kanako drops 1.00+ Power anyway so the bomb is basically free.
- Post-Kanako - You killed both the big fairies on time, which is great! Green bullets kinda threw you off guard, it seems, costing you a bomb. Two bombs during blue fairies contributed greatly for your score, since you get +3 Power before Suwako anyway.
- Nonspell #1 - Understandable deathbomb, because even though this is her first nonspell, it's one of her most annoying ones, since it's not as simple as streaming or periodic horizontal movement.
- Bow and Clap - YOU DIDN'T CHEESE THIS SPELL!!! Ah, well, it's easy enough with just the trick (aka become best buddies with the blue lasers), which is what you did to capture it the "proper" way.
- Long Arms, Long Legs - You knew what to do, but your movement lacked precision, causing your hitbox to remain misaligned with the gap, causing you to bomb. You actually had a bit more time to move back and let the gaps get wider, but it would have been a risky choice anyway. Also, whenever you start this spell or die or bomb, you should get close to Suwako, because the bottom area is a death trap with the lasers guaranteed to wall you.
- Nonspell #3 - Although you captured this fine, hogging the bottom is a bad idea here since the gap for you to slip through during the periodic movements is really tiny. If you were closer to the center, I think the gaps would be bigger, giving you more leeway on the timing of your movements.
- Onion Ring - Mmm, tasty onion rings~ You weren't really eating them right though. When the rings approach you, you want to move as fast as possible to the center-top. Don't linger on the way. And once you reach the center-top, you'll want to WAIT there until the next rings approach you, before you return back to the bottom-center as fast as possible. It can be seen early on that your path was being filled with obstacles and you actually had to be a bit careful about traveling. This is an indication that you weren't doing it right and the obstacles kept getting worse until you bombed. Unfortunately, this is a spell that is not very forgiving about mistakes (since the rings would already be sent into undesirable directions when you bomb), so you ended up having to bomb again.
- Nonspell #4 - Ah, I'm not the only one here who panicbombs after auto-collecting. I'd be a hypocrite if I told you to be careful about autocollecting here, hehe~ But you did screw up the streaming though, by moving too far.
- Jade River - You decided to start with the closing, and pulled it off well. Then you took the opening, which was fine, but you should be trying to slip through the bullets right after you go through the opening. If you try to stall those bullets, you'll eventually get walled, like that. For the next wave, you went for the opening again, and also tried to stall the bullets, resulting in another wall.
- Nonspell #5 - Moving in a box is freaking dangerous, man! Are you nuts??? You were able to capture it though, so you were probably just too good~
- Snake eats the Furudo Erika-ing Frog - Why are you so close to the explosions while you're circling around? Being nearer Suwako is safer and also allows you to circle slower (smaller radius -> smaller circumference). Anyhow, that wasn't where you screwed up. You basically took the wrong path through the stationary bullets (there was a much safer path on the left), which prevented you from making it across in time to run away from the stationary bullets. Understandable mistake, since you're not given a whole lot of time to find a proper safe path through the stationary bullets. It's basically a reactive spell, in that sense.
- Nonspell #6 - Same as Nonspell #3, the bottom is a risky place to dodge. But considering that you captured this too, I'm guessing your finger muscles are already skilled enough to maintain the exact rhythm without screwing up.
- Seven Stones and Trees - Dodging the stones really well, oka- oh what the, did you just get hit by a LASER??? Now that was just pure carelessness. It was hilarious though! You dodged the the rest of the stones fine, so I'm pretty sure you could've captured this if you were just more conscious of which side the laser was on.
- Nonspell #7 - This deathbomb seemed unnecessary, I'm guessing it was an insurance bomb? Or a panic bomb, idk
- FROGGY - One of the most fun spells for me to face during the Suwako fight. You were doing pretty good, but you accidentally dodged to the right reflexively despite the left being safer, causing you to face more bullets than you should be expected to dodge, thus resulting in a bomb. Considering that this is the most skill-based Suwako spell (imo anyway), spending only one bomb to it is pretty impressive!
- Nonspell #8 - Dangerous auto-collection, yeah, this happens to me, too. The pattern is just pure streaming though, so the second bomb wasn't really needed.
- Red Frog - Although I'm not sure what the optimal path is for this spell (the pattern I use works until like, the last ten seconds, after which a bomb is inevitable), but I'm pretty sure that you'd cut down your losses if you actually moved SLOWLY through your path. Going slowly makes it more likely that the previous bullets will have already exploded by the time you return to their area. Going too fast is why you lost so much, though I have to admit that you survived pretty well at 0.00 power for a while until you died.
- Great Suwa War - The red suns (every even iteration) are aimed, so you kinda have to stream them. You were doing a great job though, until like 20 seconds where you seemed to have moved further than you intended. The last ten seconds are hell, so yeah, bomb spamming ftw
- Mishaguji-samaaaaaaaa - Not much to say about this spell, it's just so incredibly simple. Pure criss-crossing. It's nice to see that you're moving up sometimes, instead of restricting yourself to horizontal-only. This is somewhat of an endurance spell, so the intensity can really wear you down and cause you to bomb. And considering it's the final front and YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO DIE RIGHT NOW, it makes sense for you to spend all of your bombs to ensure victory.
- Overall - A really good run, I'd say, You managed the stage parts perfectly, ensuring that you reach Suwako with max lives and power. You have a very solid grasp on how to capture most of Suwako's earlier spells, though you need to refine your approach for the Onion Rings and the Jade River openings. All your other deaths were mostly due to unexpected mistakes, though lack of precision was a common issue (moving further than you intended or needed to). I'm not really sure how to capture her survival spells myself, so I can't offer much advice for Red Frog or the last ten seconds of Great Suwa War. Froggy and Mishaguji-sama bombs were understandable, since they involve high-intensity dodging. Although I believe you have the skill to capture both of those, bombing is understandable when your objective is to clear. In any case, I'd say that this is a pretty good performance for MoF Extra, and you should be proud of it. Congratulations! Unless you want to try mastering all of Suwako's spells, I'd say this is a clear that should be satisfying enough for MoF Extra.
