ff5, NEW super metroid 2 for the wii u, thoughts

Felt like writing down some thoughts, figured this is a pretty decent way to do it, thanks for reading

School is stressful and motivation is pretty scarce but I'm getting through it, mostly due to my friends on FFXIV. I look forward to hanging out every night pretty much and it makes classes feel less taxing than they are, so thanks everyone. :)

I think I'd enjoy streaming more but never can get myself to do it, dunno why.

I finally got around to finishing FF5 last week. Fun game but I rushed through the last dungeon too much and felt pretty under leveled, maybe that's just how it is though. Mystic Knight is my favorite job followed by Dragoon and Ninja I think. Time Mage is pretty sick too. I feel like Geomancer could have been cool early game, but it was kinda meh when I used it for a bit. FF9 will be when I feel like playing another turn based RPG, which might be sooner than I expected. Might stream (see above).

New Metroid 2 was pretty sweet. There were some goofy things about it but overall it was a really solid game that met all of my expectations. There were a few weapon expansions that I felt shouldn't have existed just due to the nature of how you get them, but I'm not gonna go in to detail on it because it's just me being mad. Over all I'd give it eh about a B. I felt like there wasn't enough variety in the metroid fights, but there were some interesting ideas otherwise. The new Aeion powers or w/e they were called weren't nearly as gimicky as I had thought they were going to be. They pretty much just gave access to new areas like any other power up would, only with a few extra external uses. The counter was a good addition imo, i just wish some enemies made it less obvious that they were going to charge at you or that it wasn't so blatantly telegraphed.

Oh hey I haven't finished NieR Automata yet

I'm thinking of asking people for games to play through. It'd be kind of a "You get to make me play one game for whatever reason." kinda thing. For example, Wawlconut gave me Donkey Kong Land, and I promised Boredeathly I'd play Tails's Adventure at some point in my life. It's kinda fun playing games that may or may not be trash with people who have played them extensively watching. No idea who I'd ask or how many people even have games like that, but it's something I think could be kinda cool.

Excited to delve back in to Ω4S with the MOOZ! crew tonight. Raid owns and that group owns.
