- Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?
- A: No, I'm playing on a DS (phat) with a capture board installed allowing me to record game footage
- Q: Why do you choose Tepig?
- A: Because the Tepig evolution family is the best for the speedrun.
- Q: Why do you keep resetting and changing the time?
- A: I need to use a specific time in order to use RNG manipulation, so I set the clock in such a way that I can use it.
- The timer counts down to when I need to reset for the correct second.
- Q: Why do you pick the boy?
- A: As far as I know, there is no difference between the characters in this game.
- Q: What are the stats of the Tepig you are using?
- A: Tepig has 31 IV across all stats with an Adamant nature.
- Q: What Pokémon do you use in the run?
- A: Tepig does 95% of the work. Pansage is used to defeat Cress; as a Cut intern; for one required double battle; and as a sacrifice twice (Lenora, Bianca @ Route 6). Ducklett is caught on Driftveil Bridge - he is used as a Fly/Surf slave. Reshiram is forced into my party at the end - he is used to defeat Zekrom, then allowed to die so I can switch in Tepig for free.
- Q: Why do you play the Black version over the White one?
- A: Reshiram has a higher chance to 2 hit the Zekrom because his special attack is higher.
