Hanbyul was born and raised in Hongdae, South Korea. Han was a theatre kid from a young age and enjoyed being on stage whether it was for performing or acting. He enjoyed it all. He originally wanted to be a actor and he actually still wants to be. This was until he discovered a new found love for singing when he was asked to perform a song as a solo during one of the plays. He loved the song for some reason and singing it made him feel great. He started to appreciate singing a lot more than he originally did and knew he wanted to do more of this.

1. He suffers form light sensitivity. This is where his eyes are intolerant to bright lights and hurt when exposed to it. He has to keep the lights in his room quite dim and he also has different pairs of tinted glasses that he often wears in order to handle the lights when out and about.
2. He was attacked by a cat when he was 13 years old and so it has scarred him. When ever he hears or sees a cat, he will jump and run away from it.
3. He has always wanted to get into acting and he used to act in his school plays.
