>you knock at the library door
"Just a minute!"
>after exactly sixty seconds pass the door cracks open
>it's Twilight...or, at least, you're pretty sure that the wolf with the purple muzzle and dark head of hair with the bony horn poking through it is Twilight
>"Oh Twilight, not you too."
>she looks cross
"I appreciate that you're curious, Anon, but I really can't be interrupted. I'm doing a lot of important work here-"
>"Curious, nothing. I've already seen Dash and Fluttershy like this."
>the door swings wide open
>she's standing there in all her glory, staring up at you with wide, dark eyes, tongue lolling
>her tail is wagging
"You've seen them?! Come in, Anon, you have to tell me more."
>in an instant you're whisked inside
>you haven't been to the library all that often, but even you can tell that it's in shambles
>books have been pulled off their shelves every which way, notes with inky pawprints are scattered across every surface and there's a little pile of pillows, plates and broken quills where she apparently made herself a nest
>it's not like her to be this messy
>but now that you're out of the sunlight and your eyes have adjusted to the natural gloom of the library, you start to notice other things
>namely, she looks as frazzled as hell
>fur mussed, hair askew and eyes bloodshot
>oh, and she's doing the thing where she grits her teeth together, except now that she has the proper muzzle for it, it looks like she's constantly grinning
>it makes Twilight look like a mad wom -mad pon -mad wolf-
