- The main antagonist of this special episode of temporal proportions is an ultra souped up version of Cyberion from the future, similar to how the Ben 10,000 episode had a souped up Vilgax. Future Cyberion not only has complete encyclopedic knowledge on all 1010 Merge Modes that Fusion-MX has mastered to their fullest potential and fully realized contingency plans that exploits their weaknesses but even has the powers of 100 different Merge Modes programmed into his highly evolved/enhanced physiology, which he gained by absorbing enough of his energy, earning him the name, Cyberion MK100 in the future. On top of this, Cyberion MK100 has even assimilated Ultrom, TRO-Gen and Deathgripper, completely gaining all of their powers and combined strength, he incorporated Ultrom’s technology into his Bioticans and his Technokinesis, Ergokinesis and intelligence has been supremely enhanced. Truly making him The Ultimate Nemesis in Fusion-MX’s time (Ultimate Nemesis meaning that he’s the most powerful reoccurring villain in Fusion-MX’s rogue’s gallery, NOT his most powerful villain period).
- After escaping from the prison realm that Fusion-MX created for him as Jailer Merge, (another testament to how much of an immense threat he has become) Cyberion MK100 attacks a scientific research center founded by Future A.I. Keen and steals an experimental Temporal Travel Gun, assimilates it into his body and uses it to go back in time in order to kill Fusion-MX as a comparatively weaker and less experienced teenager, using his much greater well of knowledge and power to do so. Although unable to stop Cyberion MK100 from going back to the past, Fusion-MX pursues him as a time traveling Merge Mode or Xros Merge of some kind to stop his nefarious plan. Before going straight after Nicholas however, Cyberion MK100 attacks a maximum security prison and sets multiple, Earth-based villains that Fusion-X has battled when he was first starting out free and commands them to attack Onawa, Susan and Duncan in order to “keep them busy” while he kills Fusion-X, promising them great futures in return. He does this in order to leave Nicholas more vulnerable to his wrath, knowing well that Nicholas’ friends and family has helped him greatly and even saved his life multiple times, severing his ties with them will greatly increase his chances of victory.
- Meanwhile, Team Teslason minus Nicholas and Alloy are all at the beach on a nice summer day having fun but Nicholas and Alloy are late for their beach episode due to needing to stop a bank robbery by a trio of metahuman supervillains named Rock, Paper & Scissors (triplets who have stone, paper and metal bodies respectively and powers relating to said materials, Rock is the eldest sister, Paper is the middle child and Scissors is the youngest). Susan calls them to make sure they’re coming and they try to assure her that they will but an explosion cuts the call short. Susan laments on how Nicholas and Alloy have been more and more involved in hero work and missing out on life, a sentiment that Onawa and Duncan share. Rock, Paper & Scissors manage to escape from Fusion-X as a much greater threat looms, Cyberion MK100 attacks Fusion-X, the symbiotic shapeshifter surprised and confused by his new look.
- Fusion-X does battle with Cyberion MK100 and understandingly gets their asses handed to them due to Cyberion’s great power and knowledge of their Merge Modes. Cyberion MK100 then threatens to absorb Alloy and gain the powers of Fusion-X for himself but just as he is about to do so, Fusion-MX saves his teenaged counterpart just in time and escapes into the future, little do they know however is that Cyberion MK100 was counting on this, “All according to plan” he says menacingly as he creates a portal to an unknown location. An unconscious Nicholas and Alloy are brought into the future a bit on the bruised side and when they come to, they are shocked and amazed to see what appears to be Fusion-X only much taller and more muscular looking, larger horns, a futuristic utility belt of some kind and even metallic facial hair. After getting over the shock of meeting their future selves, Nicholas and Alloy and taken to the fantastic futuristic city of Metro-X, a city that Fusion-MX founded after the events of what Future Nicholas refers to as “The Black Hole Wars”. Fusion-MX catches Nicholas and Alloy up on what has been happening. Fusion-MX explains that Emperor Cyberion would become one of their greatest enemies, his arch nemesis in fact, not only because of how powerful he has become but due to Cyberion making it his life mission to destroy Nicholas and make Alloy and the unlimited power he possesses all his and not just out of a greed for power anymore. After bringing their younger selves to their base of operations, an impressive watch tower called The Epicenter, Fusion-MX explains that he destroyed Cyberion’s home planet of Auxiliarus (which Cyberion conquered and transformed into a dystopian wasteland long before the events of their first encounter) as well as his entire legion of Bioticans during what would go down in history as their greatest battle ever, leaving him an emperor without an empire and thus, he swore revenge on Fusion-MX no matter what. Nicholas and Alloy realize the bigger and badder Emperor Cyberion is still back in their time doing who knows what and insists they go back, Fusion-MX agrees but before they can go however, Metro-X is attacked by a fleet of Bioticans and war machines similar to the Tripod Walkers from War of The Worlds called Conqueroids.
- Future Nicholas and Alloy is surprised by this attack as they could’ve sworn that the last of Cyberion’s robots and warships were destroyed during their last confrontation on Auxiliarus but he answers the call to save his city from this invasion and invites the younger versions of the duo to help, they accept yet wonder why he doesn’t ask Onawa, Duncan and the rest to handle this attack while they go find Cyberion-MK100 in the past or at the very least help them, a saddened Fusion-X regretfully explains that he doesn’t really see them that much anymore due to being too busy with his hero work, being recognized as the single greatest force of good in the entire universe and protecting the planet Earth around the clock has caused him to become estranged from them and he’s hesitant in reaching out because he assumes that they must hate them for not staying in touch as much they used to. While Fusion-X and Fusion-MX fight the mysterious invasion of machines in the future, Team Teslason do battle with the escaped villains Wolf Fang: Leader of the Wolf Gang, Warmonger: Cybernetic War Criminal, Purge: Insatiable Acid Monster, Granite: The Rogue Golem, Ember Blackfire: Rockstar from Hell, Dr. Fallout: The Living A-Bomb, Sweet Tooth: Killer Confectioner, Princess Poison: Toxic Specialist, Toy Master: Maniacal Toy Inventor and Captain Overkill: The Pirate Queen and despite their combined efforts, the villains have them on the run due to their combined powers, however aid comes in the form of their future counterparts, Future Onawa, who has become a treasure hunting sorceress, Future Susan, Martial Artist Supreme and leader of the New Hue Crew (who are legitimate heroes) and Future Duncan A.K.A. Blackout, Ergokinetic Anti-Hero joined with his own symbiotic partner in the form of Celia, a energy-absorbing slime mold alien similar to a Symbiote from Marvel in concept. The Team Teslason of the Future help their younger counterparts make quick work of the surprisingly dangerous D-Listers and tell them that they must come with them to the future due to both their Fusion-X’s being in xtreme danger.
- In the future, both Fusion-X’s battle with the invasion of Cyberion’s legion of machines, finding that these Bioticans, Conqueroids and other ravaging robots are much more powerful than either remember as they have been enhanced by Ultrom’s technology but they manage to destroy them and save the city… however, Fusion-MX feels that something is off, his instincts turn out to be correct as the fleet of machines were merely an appetizer. An immense ship in the shape of a cybernetic skull with metallic tentacles blots out the sun with what looks like millions of robots accompanying it, the ship’s mouth opens to reveal Cyberion MK100 who reveals that back in the past, he traveled to Auxiliarus‘ moon where his past self kept an immense surplus of Bioticans equal to an Earth-like planet’s population in case of an emergency and brought it all to the future to finally put an end to Fusion-X, assimilate Alloy and conquer the Earth… and then the universe. Although surprised by this revelation, both Fusion-X’s refuse to be discouraged and do battle with Cyberion MK100, Fusion-MX focuses on battling the Biotican legions with his supremely powerful Merge Modes (such as Scalar, Mother and Amazonian Merge) in order to keep Metro-X and it’s citizens safe while Fusion-X reluctantly confronts Cyberion MK100, how badly the would-be emperor brutalized them during their first encounter still fresh in their mind, Cyberion MK100 is certain that his victory is assured, once he kills the young Fusion-X, Fusion-MX will cease to exist and his vastly superior power combined with the lack of Onawa, Susan or Duncan to help him, or Fusion-MX confirms this.
- When things look their bleakest however, both the past and future versions of Onawa, Susan and Duncan come to the future, enraging and bewildering Cyberion MK100, Cyberion MK100 didn’t count on the Team Teslason of his time coming to Fusion-MX’s aid because he assumed that they resented him too much to actually care about him anymore but the opposite is true, because while Onawa, Susan, Duncan and the others close to Nicholas wished he and Alloy would stay in touch more, they understand the immense burden they have as being Earth’s protector and the greatest hero in the entire universe and don’t resent him for it. Fusion-MX is touched by this revelation and tearfully expresses his gratitude for his family and swears that he will take more time off from hero work to be with them. Both the young and future versions of Team Teslason take on the remaining horde of machines while Fusion-MX comes to the aid of his teenaged selves. The two Fusion-X’s work together in perfect unison, combining their strengths and using all they got to defeat Cyberion MK100, severely injuring him to the point of missing entire limbs, Fusion-MX tells Cyberion to give up while he’s ahead but the would-be emperor furiously refuses and activates the ship’s self destruct sequence in a last ditch effort to take them and the entire Earth down with him. Fusion-MX turns into Digital Merge to gain control of the ship and fly it deep into space far away from the Earth and Fusion-X turns into Warp Merge to get them both back to Earth, Cyberion MK100 cries out one last “curse you!” and explodes with his ship. Cyberion MK100’s demise causes the remaining Bioticans to deactivate and the heroes celebrate their victory over Fusion-X’s Ultimate Nemesis.
- While repairs to Metro-X and disposal of the Roboticans are ongoing by A.I. Keen’s robot task force, Fusion-MX does some much needed catching up with his friends and family over a barbecue held at the Epicenter, the past and future versions of the team party together and share some last words over what they’ve learned today but before Nicholas, Alloy and the others are returned to their original time, Fusion-MX explains that their memories must be wiped for the sake of the timeline, knowing too much about their futures could irreversibly change the future in unpredictable ways but he assures them that no matter what happens in the near future, one thing is for certain Fusion-X will ALWAYS have his family because that is what’s most important in life. Fusion-MX uses Memorizer Merge to wipe the team’s memories and the five of them wake up on the beach together in full swimsuit attire and everything, Nicholas and Alloy don’t remember getting to the beach but assume they are just tired from fighting Rock, Paper & Scissors, Nicholas apologizes for letting hero work get in the way of spending time with his friends and family but the others tell him that they understand that he has a responsibility to help others and fight the forces of evil with the power and responsibilities he and Alloy possesses but encourage him to make more time for himself and just live life.
- The Epilogue shows two things.
- Scene 1 - Alloy is seen going over his records for the day late at night while Nicholas sleeps, he reflects upon how Nicholas has others like him, humans yes but not only humans, family, he has a sister, a mother, a girlfriend, a best friend and while they all consider Alloy a part of the family, Alloy feels alone in the world, not having anyone like him (except Deathgripper but it would be a cold day on Ignitus IV before Alloy ever considered him family). Alloy goes outside to Nicholas’ backyard and looks towards the sky, wondering about his origins, who or what his creator is and if he has anyone he can consider family, just then he is struck with a bright red flash and a menacing, glitchy voice saying “finally, after all this time I finally found you… brother”. This leads into the events of Alloy’s Inside Story.
- Scene 2 - While that is happening, we see the ten villains that Cyberion MK100 sent to kill Team Teslason accompanied by Rock, Paper and Scissors who have all escaped custody and are all hiding out at The Alibi, a bar that is notorious for providing service to gangsters, super villains and criminals alike. The thirteen villains vent to each other about how much of an annoyance Fusion-X and the others have become and decide to finally do something about it, they come to the conclusion that the only way to finally defeat The Ultimate Hero (Fusion-X) and all other do-gooders that stand in their way is to form an alliance (recognizing that they have come close to defeating Team Teslason before their future counterparts intervened) and combine their powers and resources to become the ultimate force for evil. They dub themselves The Crime Society and make a toast to crime, but just as they are about to argue over who should be the leader, a cloaked figure comes in and tells the newly formed Crime Society that if they follow their direction, they can supply them with resources to make them more powerful and more effective criminals than they ever were before and even recruit more members as well, upon being asked who this cloaked figure is, she uncovers her hood to show that’s it none other than Sarah West.
- Suggestions for specific scenes and other details
- - There could be many scenes involving both Fusion-X’s complimenting each other’s Merge Mode abilities, such as Fusion-X using Boost Mode to enhance Fusion-MX as Ergo Mode during their climatic battle with Cyberion MK100.
- - After freeing the bundle of D-Listers from prison and commanding them to attack Team Teslason while he goes after Fusion-X, one of the villains named Fat Cat, a criminal overlord similar to The Penguin or Kingpin but taking the form of an obese, human/cat hybrid objects to this and questions why they should listen to him and the others start to agree with him. Cyberion MK100 responds by simply blasting him with a death ray, reducing him to nothing but an irradiated skeleton, the remaining ten villains are scared into doing what Cyberion says as a result and he assures them that they will be rewarded for their submission to him.
- - While both Fusion-X’s are at The Epicenter, there is a humorous scene in which Fusion-MX pours himself a cup of coffee before he explains the situation involving Cyberion MK100 and Nicholas is bewildered to actually see himself drink coffee because of how much he HATES coffee, Fusion-MX laughs and tells him that he’ll end up getting a taste for it since in his words, “coffee is a super hero’s best friend!”.
- - The utopian city of the future that Fusion-MX founded known as Metro-X is a futuristic version of Nicholas’ city as most of it was destroyed during the events of The Black Hole Wars and is populated by the likes of humans, aliens, robots, monsters, mutants, magic users and much more.
- - Fusion-MX’s “utility belt” is loaded with useful, emergency items that he uses when in a pinch, most of these items were acquired during his travel to other dimensions such as Senzu Beans (Dragonball Universe), Meeseeks Box (Rick & Morty), Fenton Thermos (Danny Phantom), Null Void Projector (Ben 10), Gem Rejuvenator (Steven Universe), Pokéballs (Pokémon), Dials (One Piece), Lightsaber (Star Wars), Plant Seeds (Plants vs. Zombies), SCP-662 (SCP Foundation), and multiple Power-Ups (Super Mario Bros.).
- - As mentioned before, Fusion-MX is called the way he is because out of the billions of Merge Modes he possesses, he has mastered a thousand and ten of them to their fullest potential, fully updated and fully realized. MX being the Roman numberal for 1010, thus his name.
- - My idea involving Future Onawa becoming a treasure hunter comes from Magic Carpet since it always reminded me of Aladdin. Future Onawa is an archeologist who owns and operates a museum dedicated to unexplained mysteries and aspects of human history interconnected with things like magic and aliens known as the Teslason Museum of Unnatural History, which is filled with her archeological findings. Future Onawa is actually armed with an arsenal of magical artifacts that she uses in fighting evil and in her expeditions, such as the Philosopher’s Stone, Spear of Destiny and Shield of Camazotz.
- - Celia and the concept of Duncan becoming a hero with his own identity comes from an idea for a special two part episode that I’ve been meaning to share called Best Frenemies Part 1: Blackout Rises and Best Frenemies Part 2: The Spore Wars, in which Duncan discovers Celia after she crash landed on Earth and becomes imprinted to him, fusing with his body in a similar fashion to a Symbiote, transforming them into the symbiotic being known as Blackout. Celia is part of a race of energy absorbing and manipulating slime mold creatures known as the Mycelium who are feared and reviled across the universe for being highly dangerous parasitic creatures, being marked as Extinction Event Level threats, this is due to them being part of a hive mind to the omnigenocidal Mycelium Prime, a hive mind that Celia detached from, becoming her own being with thoughts and emotions, one that Duncan quickly becomes friends with. Celia not only greatly enhances Duncan’s Ergokinesis, making it overall more powerful and giving Duncan the ability to switch between and manipulate all different forms of energy but also giving him the ability to control the black, fungal gunk that composes Celia and Blackout’s “suit” allowing him to create all manner of constructs from melee weapons to energy cannons as well as impressive shapeshifting abilities.

- 1. I love the Celia/Venom Homage, tell me please and the two parter you mentioned earlier (well i want to feature duncan's mother luanne west in it also if you don't mind).
- 2. What does the villains look like exactly (is that up for me?)
- 3. I love the idea of having Emperor Cyberion to be the main antagonist (or his future self), i was hoping to use him more, but we talked about it in DeviantArt.
- 4. so is Metro-X part of Dr. Keen/A.I Keen's new era of technology for humanity.
- 5. I see Nicholas, Alloy, Duncan, Onawa, and Susan, A.I Keen's, and the Magic Carpet's Future Counterparts but what about the other such as Teresa, Komodo, Jay/Cat, and Teresa's and Onawa's Friends?......but hybrid i have a special idea for him.
- 6. The Villains are all from the future right?
- 7. I see Cyberion's Ship is very inspired by Brainiac's Ship (but maybe a bit too much).
- 8. Will the future be different at the end so the series can have a different future as it goes on afterwards?
-
- 1. I’ll be posting the synopsis for Best Frenemies in a similar fashion to Fractured Futures soon.
- 2. Yeah, you could design them if you’d like. I’m interested to see what you come up with given the descriptions I’ve provided.
- 3. I always thought Cyberion had more potential as an antagonist which is why I have him be the main protagonist here and one of the main protagonists in another concept for an episode I had teased in the description for The Black Hole Market episode.
- 4. Yes, Metro-X is created with his technology and he designed it with Fusion-MX’s help. I can see a utopian city of the future being one of his dreams.
- 5. I don’t really have any ideas for them, if you want to incorporate them that’ll be fine, it’s your series.
- 6. No, Cyberion MK100 frees them from prison in the past. I’d imagine most of them would be dead or at least retired in the future, Purge, Ember and Granite would still be alive and well since they’re inhuman beings. Purge being a blob monster, Ember a demon and Granite a golem. Speaking of which, maybe the future counterparts of these villains could appear in some fashion, perhaps Cyberion MK100 enlists the help of Future Purge, Ember and Granite as a contingency plan which results in Teresa, Komodo, Jay/Cat and A.I. Keen needing to fight them while the Onawas, Susans and Duncan’s fight the Bioticans and the Fusion-Xs fight Cyberion.
- 7. Perhaps, maybe the ship can resemble a giant mechanical eye instead or just be a more traditional warship similar to Vilgax’s Chimeran Hammer.
- 8. That’s up to you.
