- Showing a great potential in RU and being A+ at Viability Ranking, Virizion's high Speed stat, incredible Special Defense and unique typing allows it to check common Pokemon in the tier, such as Registeel, Donphan, and Blastoise. In addition, Justified can guarantee an Attack boost if Virizion switches into a Dark-type move, specifically Knock Off and Dark Pulse that are pretty common in the tier, turning both Leaf Blade and Close Combat into more powerful STABs. Furthermore, Virizion has access to Swords Dance, which increases its Attack in two stages, making it capable of threatening almost the entire metagame. Moreover, thanks to its excellent movepool, Virizion manages to increase its longevity in the game thanks to Synthesis, arising more opportunities to setup with Swords Dance. Moreover, Synthesis makes Virizion a more consistent check against Pokemon like Mega Blastoise and Zygarde-10%. Finally, Grassium Z is an excellent item option, causing good damages on Pokemon like Cresselia and Florges, which, on the other hand, could defeat Virizion.
