- I wanted to do something nice and made dinner for the guy that I’m thinking about dating. He came home and was so overfilled with excitement and gratitude when he saw what I was doing. He took photos of the process and the finished product, posted it all over his social media and everything.
- The next day, he told me that his friends were so impressed with the pics he posted… and he took all the credit for it! He took everything that I taught him that night and used it to sound like he knew all the steps and how he did it.
- When he told me this, I let him know I was pretty disappointed. I told him he lied and he didn’t give me credit for all my effort. I could care less about the approval of his friends but it’s the fact that he did it is what irks me.
- I know it seems trivial and doesn’t seem like a big deal, but red flags are usually like that at first, right? The way I see it, he must be very insecure to have to lie to make himself appear more valuable.
- We’ve been talking long distance for about a year but didn’t meet in person until 5 weeks ago, and things have been good for the most part. Nowhere near perfect, but good. He’s been pretty good about being there and tending to my needs. I don’t know if I should be concerned with this. It was kind of a huge turn off tbh.
