  1. I can't find a voiced one so this will have to do
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhZJbzydJoA
  3.
  4. R: Yo, you came.
  5. L: Randy.
  6. R: I know I invited you but you shouldn't be making time for a guy tonight. Don't you have anyone you can have a sexier talk with?
  7. L: None of your business. Not to mention I can't think about that kind of stuff when there's a big battle tomorrow.
  8. R: Idiot! This is the perfect chance to put the moves on someone.
  9. 1. "Lloyd I feel so anxious..."
  10. 2. "It's all right. I'll be with you"
  11. 3. "*grabs*
  12. This is the golden combo to use.
  13. L: Don't you think that escalated a little too fast? I'm starting to doubt your popularity.
  14. R: Wanna say that again?
  15.
  16. R: ......Are you done preparing for tomorrow
  17. L: Yeah. I can't say it's perfect but I can't ask for more especially if you think about Mireille and the rest
  18. R: Well yeah. The resistance and Heiyue will probably be going against the Jaegers. My uncle and Shirley won't really join easily but even if it's just Gares and the rest it'll be a pretty tough battle.
  19. L: Yeah.
  20. L: The Red Constellation has far more combat power than I'd heard. I feel like I get now why they are said to be the strongest fighters on the entire continent
  21. R: If we're talking history then they date back to the middle ages. It seems at that time they were relatives of a most famous soldier... Berserker Orlando. They were called the strongest warrior team, always acquiring new battle skills and strengthening their body through special training methods. At present they've become the Jaegers and have adopted the family crest, the red scorpion as their name.
  22. L: I see. Ah could it be, that's the form you used the other time during that downtown race?
  23. R: Haha good job noticing. That's an arrangement made for the Red Constellation's battle training. It's originally closer to real battles and quite deadly. When I was a kid I had to do it every day till I vomited blood.
  24. L: I see. The one who put you up to this was your father, the one called War God (Toushin) right?
  25. R: Yeah, Baldur Orlando. He was like a steel lion, strict and had zero mercy.
  26. R: 3 years ago that War God gave me a mission. I was to take my troops and exterminate the 2nd squadron of our arch-rival Jaegers, the Zephyr. The enemy soldiers were double our numbers. Honestly if you compared our potential the difference in battle strength was pretty tough. But using the terrain and the element of surprise was our forte.
  27.
  28. And then...
  29.
  30. As usual I used the village we stopped for supplies. With a surprise diversion I drew some of the troops there, created a landslide and immediately blocked them. Then in order to confuse the enemies I blew up the barn at the edge of the village. I figured out their retreat route, focused all our firepower there and attacked. I never planned to sacrifice any villagers. But battles are fluid so you can't really predict things. In the end we destroyed about 50 arge around that village. One collateral was the general store. The guy working there was probably my first friend outside of the Jaeger group. When I wasn't on a mission we had drinks at the bar, made merry and hit on girls. He told me his dream was going to the city one day and opening his own shop. And then I took it away. His dream, his life, everything.
  31.
  32. Shirley: Wow! Randy, nice!
  33. Sigmund: Haha, you pass Randolph. With this trial it's settled. You will become the next War God. You'll be following my brother's footsteps so you'd better be diligent about it.
  34.
  35. L: ......
  36. R: Kinda stupid huh? It's not like I washed my hands off of the battlefield because his death shocked me. I wasn't fed up with the Jaeger's lifestyle either. I just...couldn't understand. His modest dream of opening his own shop and me becoming the next War God and spending my life fighting till I die...which one of these really meant something?
  37. L: Randy...
  38. R: That's probably my "fate" and the burden I have to carry. While I was born in the Orlando family I didn't fully gave in to the carnage and kept living halfheartedly on the battlefield.
  39. L: ......Didn't you intend to cut off ties with that "fate"? Surpass that uncle of yours?
  40. R: Yeah. Now that my old man is dead there's no other way. If I could overcome that monster with my own strength then I feel like I could settle our score from 3 years ago. And I wouldn't lose myself again.
  41. L: I see. And of course you'll let your partner help you, right?
  42. R: Yeah, I'll be counting on you.
  43. R: I'd like to do it alone but as you'd expect this opponent is a bit too much. Sorry for the trouble but I'll be expecting your help.
  44. L: Of course. How should say this, as far as partners go I really couldn't be more blessed. I'm happy you can rely on me.
  45. R: Hehe, stop trying to seduce me.
  46. L: Eh?
  47.
  48. L: Is that alcohol?
  49. R: It's rum. The high quality stuff. This is the keep bottle from when I used to go for drinks with that guy. (Google bottle keep)
  50. L: Right...
  51. R: I got this along with my rifle but I couldn't really bring myself to touch it. But somehow I feel like I can finish it now.
  52. R: We could use a lift before the decisive battle. Won't you have a drink with me?
  53. L: Yeah, pour me one.
  54. R: And now it's perfectly empty. But don't force yourself. It's not much but it's still pretty strong.
  55. L: I'm an adult now so this much should be fine. Cheers Randy!
  56. R: Yeah
  57. ......
  58. L: *cough* *cough* it...packs quite the punch.
  59. R: Haha I told you so. Well, it's a flavour fit for adults
  60. L: Stop talking like you're the only adult here.
  61.
  62. L: Hey Randy
  63. R: What is it?
  64. L: Once we can take a break let's go to the jazz bar on the back street. How about we pick a new bottle to keep? A less strong one though if possible.
  65. R: Yeah, got it. Let's go have some fun.
