It shines forth in the early morn
Like a pearl glistening in the Sun's radiant embrace

Lights shine forth
Countless and innumerable ways
As the night fades and the Sun prepares

It brings forth a new day
And a new life

Transient dawn
Tufts of clouds make their appearance
And the Sun continues its ascent

Departing dawn
Fades away slowly yet steadily
As the Sun completes its rise
And the dawn sets its sights on the new day to come

Vanished dawn
It is seemingly no more
But it hides itself in plain sight
As the day goes by
Its ascent will come sometime soon
