Final Time is based off Game Time shown on the file select screen. This time is only displayed down to minutes not
seconds. After defeating Mizar 2 on the Asteroid and regaining control of Juno, pause and save the game manually,
this saves the time spent on the Asteroid to the file. After the credits scroll go back to file select for your
final time.

It should be noted that cutscenes will not add time by watching them, thus there is no point in skipping them.
Some can be skipped and will shorten the length of time you sit playing the game. Also time spent in the pause menu does not count as game play time. So pausing to switch character or planet doesn’t add time to the file
either.

The Pistol is rarely used throughout the run (except at the start and at various points where its precision and
long range is useful). Therefore pistol capacity crates are not necessary.

The only weapons used are the Pistol, Machine Gun, Homing Missiles, Tri-Rockets, and Sniper Rifle. (Sniper Rifle
could be skipped, but it is very useful in some parts and makes them go a lot faster so it’s worth getting. It is
also a fairly powerful making it a good backup weapon to have in boss fights.)

Deaths can be use to your advantage. Dying refills your health completely and resets you  at the beginning of the
area you died in. This can cut out backtracking through an area. It can also be used just to refill your health
faster than trying to collect gems.

All Pads whether they be Floyd Missions or just a Transformation Pad require 1 Mizar Coin for use. Make sure to
pick up a few coins with each character as you will need some to complete the game. Coins DO NOT carry over
characters, so you will need to pick them up with each character respectively.

To help keep track and to make sure you are in the right locations I would suggest downloading a copy of the
Nintendo Power Strategy Guide for Jet Force Gemini(http://www.mediafire.com/download/6scwe452h778v39/). The area
names correspond to the guide for the most part, I changed a few because they didn’t feel right. As well as it
having detailed maps showing where items are. Use the maps for a sense of direction. Do not use the maps for item
locations as quite of few of them are inaccurate.

Because the final battle with Mizar is always done with Juno it is best to get full health with him. Therefore one
of both Lupus’ and Vela’s Gemini Holder’s is skipped so that Juno can get them instead. This allows Juno to skip 2
on his path to Mizar’s Palaces (at the beginning of Goldwood and end of SS Anubis).

Mupen64 video plugins don’t emulate Jet Force Gemini properly. If you have Project64 copy the Jabo_Direct3D8.dll
plugin over to Mupen or download it here(www.mediafire.com/download/wm4imsqu2anstfx/), and use it instead.
