TIFU by trusting my boyfriend to do his own laundry.

So a little back story, my boyfriend and I have been dating for roughly 6 months, we both still live at home and I’m often at his house. As two consenting adults do, we get frisky, and with that comes some “personal items” I leave in his room in a secure place. Well one of those was my thong that got dirty and he very nicely offered to wash it, as he usually does his own laundry. Key word: usually, well today I get this text ‘So my mom ended up doing my laundry for some reason.  "Nice g-string"  ‘His mother decided on Mother’s Day of all days to wash his clothes for him and found my thong. THANK YOU UNIVERSE, I’ll never be able to look that women in the eyes again. He tried to downplay it by saying it was funny and not to be dramatic but oh my good lord. I’m mortified. It’s not a surprise we are having sex but did she need to see that extent of our sex life?

TL;DR : boyfriends mother decided to wash his clothes for him after he failed to do so and found my thong.
