higurashi arc 6

Honestly the entirety of this arc felt like reading a parody. I feel like the main themes of this arc would have been better suited for arc 1. I'm dumbfounded that they introduced a parasites/aliens theory 3/4 into the story.

Random thoughts:

I'm so tired of Satoko victim blaming. It was one thing when it was Shion but bringing it back this arc was really tiring.

Why can Ooishi remember other arcs lmao

Does Miyo have this syndrome we see other people with?? Her scrapbooks might be paranoid breakdowns like Rena's

Who is Hanyuu - ideas:
- old classmate who died as a child and no one remembers? (dumb)
- Rika's older sister who is actually the real reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama (dumb)
- An actual god version of Oyashiro-sama (dumb)
Hanyuu has to actually exist/ can't be Rika's alternate personality because we have confirmation that Keiichi's dad has seen her. I have a feeling this is going to trend towards "The steps people were hearing when they were in their paranoid state was just Hanyuu following them" based on what happened with Shion/Rika in arc 5 and I'm going to tilt
