Final Fantasy X Segmented FAQ

Segmented speedruns save and load at each save point in order to achieve optimal game time and push for lucky or risky strats that are otherwise completely unreasonable in an RTA (single segment).

This Final Fantasy X Segmented run will be completed by Cereth, Palkey, Gaddicoolsunshine, Flobberworm4 and Dreamboum. We will be sending the save file around so we each use the same save file, and we will each be grinding attempts at each segment. This allows us to both get the segment done faster, as well as push for more luck manipulation, because with more of us grinding a luck reliant segment, the more likely we are to get the luck we're after.

This speedrun will be NG+, meaning we will compile the Al Bhed primers from another save file to receive 99 underdogs secrets before Evrae. This gives us early access to the Quartet of 9 mix, as well as being able to sell a portion of them for a lot of gil.
