Not a hundred meters from them, deep in the growing darkness, they saw a Path member lifted into the air, spun, and thrown some distance. Then another, thrown in a different direction. And another. Whatever was throwing them, it was coming their way.

	“Oh no,” Yaddle said, sighing. “I have to go take care of something. In the meantime, keep up the fight, Aida. Your body is not the only thing that battles the darkness. The Force is with you, and it is limitless. Rest tomorrow. Fight now.”

	“Yes, Master Yaddle.”

	With that, Yaddle crouched down and sprang high up into the air and forward, in the direction of the bodies flying here and there, almost haphazardly. As Aida fought off two more Path members, she wondered what terrible creature or being Yaddle was about to encounter.

	She found out rather quickly, as Yaddle bounded right back into the cover of the ship, next to Aida, along with the Arkanian youngling, Cippa Tarko.
