Blank Merge is inspired by Evee from Pokémon and the Cat Sith, a shapeshifting cat-like fairy from Celtic folklore. Blank Merge looks like a pure white, cat-like creature, resembling sphinx cat in shape with no face, a black X marking on it’s chest and wearing a collar with a bell that can be opened to place something inside. Blank Mode’s forms are all like bipedal, cat-like beings with unique designs that fit the Series they are embodying, Fighter Blank Merge being a maroon and burlier Cat Sith with very long, hand-like ears that can be used as powerful fists and Speedster Blank Merge being a thinner and sleeker version with green and yellow, lightning bolt-like ears and tail. These transformations are exceptionally powerful, being the embodiments of the Merge Modes they represent but Blank Merge can only access them through the use of a new gimmick, Merge Crystals. Merge Crystals are 28 gems of crystallized energy that embody the Merge Mode Series’ and are capable of drastically increasing the power and strength of Merge Modes that hold a Merge Crystal that match their series within their bodies, these crystals being the creation of Alloy’s creator that Nicholas and team found on an alien black market, as they were being sold by an alien who claimed to know Alloy’s creator, Onawa now holds these crystals in a special, custom made jewelry box to give to Fusion-X when he needs them in a pinch. These crystals are how Blank Merge can use their transformations, placing a crystal into it’s bell to do so. Blank Merge has 27 different transformations, the Conceptual Merge Crystal being the only one that Blank Merge doesn’t react to, being a Conceptual series Merge Mode to begin with.
