Templar Recipe

Beat 12 eggs and add to half a glass of water. Add half a spoon of (fleurs) *Translates to flower, most likely flour, even though the modern translation of flour is farine.
Add a pinch of salt. When omelet is cooked fold 2 or 3 times.


For the sauce

Take some butter, vinegar, *Can't tell what's next du to water stain*, some nutmeg, some salt, pepper, shallots and bring to a boil.

One ounce of milled wood of brazil * Couldn't find a better translation. Seems like it is used for a reddish tint.

Requires a varnished clay pot *of a certain size, couldn't really understand what he meant* The pot had to contain two pots?

The rose water is to counter the Therebentine de venise(pine resin distalate) *Taste wise I would assume*
First put in the pound of olive oil and the milled brazil wood and let it heat up.

Filter this stock through some cloth and put it in a new casserole dish. Add 3 (cartrons?) or one pound of white honey. *Couldn't find what cartrons is*
Boil it all together. Make sure the carefully remove the skin or white foam that forms at the surface. Take a glass in the morning and at night or more
often if you want. This remedy is good for children as well as adults.



Remedy for (respiselle?) *Not sure what that is*

We must take blue paper in which we put (le sucre?) *can't tell what the word is, if it's sucre then it means sugar, but it doesn't look like it*

Remedy for sore eyes

We must conserve water from snow that falls in March and add to it flowers from grains named (percettes?) *I think percette is a part of a flower*
Let it sit in the sun and moisten eyes with it. *Might mean add the snow and the flowers and let it melt in the sun. Most likely apply with a compress.
