Q: How my submission should be ?
A: Your submission should showcase MUGEN footages, or is strongly related to MUGEN or a NCM submission, in the forms of either an image (.JPEG, .PNG), gif (.GIF), or an video (.MP4, .AVI).

Q: How long my submission should be ?
A: While there is an hard limit of videos lasting up to 2:20, it is very recommended to cut it to a part you specifically like, or at least, up to a round of fighting.

Q: What useful tools can I use for a submission ?
A: There is plenty of programs, both online and offline, that can help you making submissions. For example, these is many video recorders you can choose, HandBrake compress the size of your video file, and online-video-cutter.com does exactly what it says on the box. These are obviously not limited to those so fell free to use whatever you want.

Q: How can I sent my submission ?
A: It is very recommended to sent submissions to No Context MUGEN's DMs.  However, due to potential changes being made on Twitter, we have provided a Google Form as an alternate method on sending submissions.

If you sent a submission by notifying the account, we will ask how do you want it to be sent. Either a retweet, or a repost, with or without credits, are fine.

For obvious reasons, please don't block DMs so that we can ask you in private. Also, please do so by @ing instead of using an hashtag, so that we can see those directly.

Q: Can I sent sent multiple submissions at the same time ?
A: It is very possible do to so. Keep in mind that if you sent too many of them, they will will be blended with other submissions coming from other people.

Q: Can I request credits for my submission ?
A: Sure you can. It will be in the from of ''Submission sent by @yourname101.'' Alternatively, you can also ask to be anonymous.

Q: Can I made submission from Youtube videos or from Streams ?
A: Sure, you can. Make sure that you sent the source as a link to the video. Alternatively, you can sent clips from Streams, but keep in mind that some events happened to Twitch regarding copyright, and submissions coming from MUGEN related ones have become trickier to sent due to having the clipping feature being restricted or disabled.

Q: Are offshots of the MUGEN engine (IKEMEN, Mortal Kombat Project, etc.) can count for a No Context MUGEN submission ?
A: Yes, as they are obviously based off the engine made by Elecbyte.

Q: I am a MUGEN author. Can I post my own works there ?
A: Yes. You can also ask for credits for obvious reasons.

Q: I don't want my work or video to be there and I request a submission removal. Can I do it ?
A: Also yes. We can accept a submission removal for any reasons whatsoever. Alternatively, you can ask us to not have submissions with either some, or all your work, there. Just make a demand and we will accept from there.

Q: Can I post NSFW stuff on No Context MUGEN ?
A: Unfortunately, submissions featuring blatant NSFW characters or some part of it, and some controversial ones might not be accepted. However, we do accept some levels of jank there, so these decisions is up at our discretion.

Q: What is the deal with DMCA and what happened on No Context MUGEN ?
A: On March 9 2021, No Context MUGEN received a DMCA strike by Sony Music Entertainement, for a song that snuck in a submission. Due to this unfortunate event, it is strongly discouraged to sent submissions having songs coming from labels known for copyright striking.

Q: Can you Retweet stuff from other accounts ?
A: Yes, we can. Just be careful to not ask us to Retweet from accounts coming from MUGEN authors, as they might be dumbfounded by a surge of views and likes, unless he specifically accept so. Retweet from anything else is fine, including other Gimmick Accounts.

Q: Can I repost anything from this account ?
A: We might not check for those but please make sure to state that these clips came from No Context MUGEN, and take notes that some of these submissions might came from a varitey of sources such as Youtube videos, streams, and such.

Q: Anything else ?
A: For things that we might have forgotten, you can ask us any sorts of little requests when we are posting our submission.

Q: What was the purpose of this account anyways?
A: Many people have wondered and questioned with the words of "What if this fought that?". And thankfully all of those questions would be answered from this engine! Unlike games such as Super Smash Bros, MUGEN provides more than enough of what is possible and considered impossible (in probably the stupidest way imaginable). No Context MUGEN is a love letter to Elecbyte for creating such a dumb but fascinating engine that continues to grow with memes and dreams coming true.
