PERSONALITY. /
      Byul Minjoo, RDV’s resident cryptid, is a force to be reckoned with, at least on the outside. With intimidating looks and a usually blunt way of speaking, people tend to avoid Minjoo rather than trying to get to know him better, not that he makes it very easy to do so. He has mastered the art of coming off as unapproachable and unbothered by what goes on around him though both of those couldn’t be further from the truth.
      In reality, Minjoo is a huge softie. He has a heart made of gold and truly only ever has good intentions. He adores any and all cute things and it’s an endearing sight to someone of his stature handle something so small and cute. Minjoo is as kind as they come and has everyone’s best interests in mind, wanting everyone close to him to be the best that they can be. He’s incredibly understanding and open-minded, often butting into conversations to offer his advice or just speak his mind on the subject at hand. Sure, he may be too honest and blunt but he has never meant any harm. He truly is a gentle giant.
      Yes, Byul Minjoo is a softie but he sure as hell is not naive nor is he a pushover. If there’s one thing he can’t stand, it’s bullies. He hates people who try to manipulate and tear down other people seeing as he was often the target of his classmates’ teasing all throughout his schooling. He knows exactly what it feels like to feel inferior to other people and he refuses to let himself to be put in that position again. Minjoo’s fierce annoyance and attitude towards those who he deems as bullies make him borderline terrifying. He already looks intimidating as it is but when true anger actually comes into play, it becomes an entirely different vibe. You know the saying “Don’t poke the bear.”? Yes, well, that applies directly to Minjoo. He’s calm and collected until someone or something gets on his nerves.
      Minjoo is a determined and stubborn individual. There’s not much that can sway his mind whenever he makes a decision. Once he sets his mind on something, there’s almost nothing that can stop him from doing or achieving it. This sheer determination is admirable seeing as it’s the very reason he did so well as a trainee. On the other hand, his determination also leads to him being quite reckless and impulsive. Crazy, right? Of all people, the calm and collected Byul Minjoo is reckless and impulsive. It’s not like he can help it. If he’s presented with any type of challenge or dare, there is no way that he’ll turn it down. He can be pretty cocky and it’s no lie that he has one hell of an ego so it’s not a surprise that the normally reserved Minjoo will take any opportunity he can to show off.
      Byul Minjoo is an enigma to any who encounter him. With his intimidating exterior and soft interior, it’s hard to tell which is the truth. Those who get to know him soon figure out that there’s many sides to this enigma of a man. Yes, he’s intimidating and reckless yet he’s also a total softie and beyond protective of his group members. He’s also a cocky, teasing little shit though only his group would know that for that’s a side of himself exclusive to them only. Only they know how snarky he can truly be. Only they know how much a tease he is. Only they know that Byul Minjoo is so much more than what everyone perceives him to be and they couldn’t be more happy that they’re the only ones who get to know.

BACKGROUND. /
      Byul Minjoo, better known as Michael, was born in raised in Seattle, Washington as the second son to his Korea-born mother and Canada-born father. William Byul and Lim Hyemi started out as nothing more than an accountant and his client though that didn’t seem to last long. Before they knew it, the young adults began dating, hitting it off instantly and becoming everyone’s new favorite couple. They were perfect for each other, almost too perfect. They married two years after they met each other and soon had their first son, Carson, Michael following five years later.
      Growing up, Michael lived a comfortable life. With two parents who held well-paying jobs and a doting older brother, it’s safe to say that the youngest Byul family member was always kept content but contentedness can only last so long. By the time Michael turned ten, the content facade he was made to live under existed no longer. Sure, he lived in a nice house and ate warm food and could literally have anything he wanted if he asked for it. But what Michael wanted couldn’t be bought, oh, no. What Michael wanted was the attention of his parents.
      The tension between William and Hyemi Byul was obvious and suffocating. Michael nor his older brother knew why tensions were so high between their parents. They did know that it was getting harder and harder to ignore and sleep through the arguments at night. Neither Michael nor his brother took initiative to say something to their parents and did anything they could to stay out of the house as long as possible. This led to Michael discovering his affinity for music.
      While Michael’s brother often spent time at his friend’s house as an escape from home, he himself had to find somewhere to hang out. Most kids were intimidated by his looks and usually blunt tone so he found himself wandering the streets of Seattle in search of a safe haven. One fateful day, Michael met the woman who introduced him to the very thing he does for a living today. Grace Drayton wasn’t blind nor oblivious to the young boy she often saw wandering the streets from the front window of her studio. The young woman could tell that he was at least well taken care of but she couldn’t help but notice how lonely he seemed. Before she could rethink her decision, the then-twenty-five-year-old was standing in the opened door and beckoning for him to join her. If you asked Michael, he was slightly weirded out. Who wouldn’t be when a very eccentric woman was waving you over with a huge grin? Luckily for Grace and, eventually Michael as well, he was more curious than cautious and soon found himself inside the homey waiting area of the recording studio.
      Before long, Michael found himself growing attached to Grace, viewing her as both an older sister and motherly figure, and spent most of his time in the recording studio. Grace took it upon herself to teach him the works, providing him with an outlet to release whatever he didn’t tell her, which wasn’t much seeing as he told her just about everything but she felt that she should give him the option. It wasn’t long before the preteen was completing his first “song” composed of a few beats he insisted on making himself. Grace was beyond proud and quite impressed with the young boy and knew she had a prodigy on her hands.
      A little over a year passed and a now thirteen-year-old Michael was given the worst news he swore he’d ever receive: his family was moving to South Korea. To make matters worse, Carson was not coming with him. His older brother was eighteen and had just graduated high school so Michael understood but that didn’t stop his disappointment. Not only would he be separated from his brother but he’d also no longer be able to spend time with Grace. The day he broke the news to his mentor and friend was one of the first times he’d cried since he was a little child. He would’ve done anything to stay there with her but the finality in his parents’ tones gave him the clear message that voicing his thoughts on the matter would be useless.
      The move to South Korea was incredibly uncomfortable for Michael and not only because of his childhood in America. He has never been close to his mother. The woman had always been distant from everyone though involved enough to avoid raising suspicion, not that it stopped Michael from silently wondering why she was like that. Upon the move to Korea, it became evident to Michael that his mother was definitely not okay with it. He noticed that she grew incredibly anxious and was paranoid about going anywhere. She grew irritable and even more closed off than before, concerning both him and his father. Michael gladly let his old man handle his mom and instead focused on not being a total social outcast.
      Michael, who began going by his Korean name due to the change in setting, hated school. He figured he’d be able to manage, being Korean himself and fluent in the language, but he soon learned the barriers went beyond language. The sheer amount of bias was overwhelming. A lot of his classmates made their disapproval of him very obvious. Yeah, sure, Michael knew he looked intimidating and more mature for his age. Yeah, Michael also knew that his childhood was completely different from those of his classmates. But, no, he did not need his classmates pointing either of those things out whenever they had the chance. Every little mistake he made put him in the spotlight for not being “a true Korean”, as the other students had put it so kindly. Was his DNA not enough to prove his heritage? Did he have to conform to all of these social norms in South Korea? If he didn’t, did it actually make him less Korean? These thoughts plagued Michael but he never dared voice them to his parents, instead relying on music, Grace, and his older brother to help him through it.
      Years passed and Michael, now better known as Minjoo, managed to graduate high school. He didn’t really see it as a big deal until he found his brother and Grace waiting for him afterwards among the crowd with large smiles. Seeing his two favorite people in one place instantly made that day Minjoo’s favorite. He’d grown further from his parents over the last six years so seeing two familiar faces in a sea of strangers eased his loneliness and reassured him that maybe things weren’t so bad.
      Now out of high school, Minjoo was faced with what he was going to do the rest of life. He knew college was important and all but he found himself dreading it more and more. Luckily for him, his two most trusted confidants were more than happy to help him figure it out. Of course, there was the selfish idea of him going to college in Seattle so that he’d be close to them, which was tempting though college was still an unappealing thought. The trio was stuck on what to do when no one could seem to come up with a solution to Minjoo’s problem, well, until Grace spoke up. “Why don’t you go into music?” Those words changed his life. Minjoo had continued making music even after he left America and he had grown to be quite good at it, having his audience of two to confirm that. Although, he’d never once considered to go into a musical career but it all became so clear when Grace said those words. Music. That’s what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
      After a short debate, Minjoo decided to audition for a Korean entertainment company, not being too keen on waiting for who knows how long for an American agency to notice him. He didn’t really care much for where he auditioned and just chose the first company he found with open auditions: BigHit. Minjoo knew he was good at making music but he never considered himself good at the whole singing or rapping part so imagine his surprise when he’s called for the next stage of auditions. Stage after stage passed and, before Minjoo knew it, he was being accepted into BigHit’s trainee program.
      Unsurprisingly, Minjoo found himself absolutely thriving in the trainee program. He was constantly improving and found enjoyment in working his ass off to maintain that. It kept him busy and he never more content, knowing that every little thing he did was preparation for his career choice. About a year and a half had passed when the company decided to have a little family day at the dorm for the trainees, giving the day off to those who’s family couldn’t come. Minjoo was thrumming with excitement at the opportunity to his family, even his parents. He wanted so badly to show them that he was doing good. Luckily, Grace and Carson were able to make it along with his parents. Little did he know, everything would change for him that day.
      Everything started out fine. Minjoo greeted his four family members with hugs and smiles, to the surprise of the other trainees who were very used to his blank face. The five were chattering amongst themselves, catching up on the last year and half of their lives, when all hell broke loose. “Isn’t that...Kwak Nahyun?” All it took was one person to utter that sentence before the entire room grew restless, adults all whispering amongst each other as they searched for this “Kwak Nahyun”. Minjoo was confused though he paid no mind to it, still engrossed in conversation with Carson and Grace. Although, he couldn’t help but notice his mother’s drastic change in demeanor. Moments ago, she was relaxed and conversing as normally as Byul Hyemi could though it was if a flip had switched. She fidgeted and glanced around with the anxious look that Minjoo had grown so used to. It didn’t take Minjoo long to realize that adults around the lobby area were all sending glances in their direction, more specifically his mother’s. “Hey, mom, uh, what’s going-” He didn’t even get time to finish his sentence before the police arrived, arresting his suddenly crazed mother. Minjoo could do nothing but stare and watch in shock and confusion as his mother was dragged out of the building in handcuffs.
      As it turned out, Byul Hyemi was not who she said she was. The woman Minjoo had come to know as his mother was none other than Kwak Nahyun, notorious prostitute and thief. Nahyun had fled Korea years ago as a wanted woman, changing her identity and taking refuge in America. Completely equipped with all of the money and expensive clothes that she had stolen, she settled down in Seattle, Washington before immediately finding a bank to hold all of her stolen money. That’s where she met an accountant by the name of William Byul, the man she eventually married and had children with and also the man she had completely fooled. One would’ve thought that she would have changed her ways in order to keep up with her new identity but she did no such thing. Sure, she changed her personality around her family and acted like a normal, working-class woman but she never stopped hustling people out of money. She stole money from many large companies around the world, including her home country of South Korea. Imagine Minjoo’s surprise when he found out that she stole money from BigHit Entertainment as well as Bang Sihyuk himself, his boss.
      After the entire ordeal with Minjoo’s mother being a wanted criminal, life as a trainee was a lot different for him. No longer was he left in peace. Wherever Minjoo walked, whispers and judgmental eyes followed him. Sure, people were too intimidated by him to actually do anything truly serious but that didn’t stop them from loudly spitting insults about him and protesting being anywhere near him. “Watch out for that guy, he’ll steal your money.” “I don’t want anything to do with some whore’s son.” “His mother sent him to do her dirty work.” “Why hasn’t he been kicked out yet?” All of these words were like poison to Minjoo’s ears. Did people really think like this? They clearly didn’t know the full story and were making wild assumptions, which annoyed Minjoo beyond belief. Luckily, he knew he was not going to be kicked out of the company. Bang Sihyuk himself had made a point to talk to Minjoo about everything that had happened, making sure that Minjoo knew that he held no blame to him for his mother’s wrongdoings.
      Knowing that Bang Sihyuk didn’t hold a grudge against him was all Minjoo needed to continue his training unbothered. Sure, his chances at making friends had flown out the window but he wouldn’t let that get to him. Byul Minjoo’s sheer determination and passion to debut was all he even needed and, luckily for him, all of his hardwork has paid off.

HABITS. /
      POPPING HIS JOINTS | This is by far one of Minjoo’s worst habits. He primarily pops his fingers, wrists, neck, and back but that won’t stop him from rolling his ankle around to hear that satisfying crack. He normally pops his joints whenever he’s preparing to do something, whether it be dancing or typing.
      STRESS EATING | The bane of Minjoo’s existence is his habit of stress eating. As an idol. it’s so important to maintain a good diet and weight so that fans will continue to find you attractive. Unfortunately for Minjoo, he enjoys the hell out of food and, whenever he’s feeling stressed or anxious, he indulges in this enjoyment. Even more unfortunately, as a key part of his group’s production team, he is more often than not stressed beyond belief.
      HUMMING | Minjoo has a habit of humming whenever he’s focusing or relaxed. Seeing as he makes music, his mind is constantly filled with constant ideas so it’s no surprise to his group members whenever they find that the newest song of Minjoo’s has the beat of his latest hum.
      SORTING HIS CLOTHES BY COLOR | Minjoo has a habit of sorting his clothes by color. He honestly doesn’t know why he does it or when he started to do it but he does know that it’s extremely satisfying to him. I mean, he won’t get upset if his clothes aren’t in color order but he’ll sort them whenever he gets the opportunity.

FEARS + STRENGTHS. /
      FEAR OF ABANDONMENT | All throughout Minjoo’s childhood, he’s suffered through loneliness and he hated every second of it. Although, was never truly alone but he can’t shake the fear that, one day, everyone he has come to cherish will abandon him and leave him completely alone. Because of this, he often tries to make a point to not be left alone anywhere. For example, if he’s in his room, he at least wants the comfort of knowing there is another person there in the dorm too.
      FEAR OF PIGEONS | This fear probably seems incredibly ridiculous but, trust him, it’s warranted. Minjoo cannot stand being around pigeons because they’re just so weird and disease-ridden. Not to mention, he had quite the traumatic experience as a child when his brother and him were feeding the birds. Let’s just say that Minjoo and pigeons don’t get along very well.
      FEAR OF FAILURE | Minjoo’s biggest and most crippling fear is his fear of failure. The mere thought of failing terrifies him to the point of panic. The last thing he wants is for everything he’s worked so hard for to be put to waste or discredited. Because of this fear, he overworks himself to an unhealthy extent just so that he can make sure every little thing he does is as perfect as he can manage. Anything that he deems less than perfect is just one more thing he pushes himself to work on.

      EMPATHETIC | One of Minjoo’s strengths is his ability to empathize with people. This not only makes him a great friend but a great composer as well. He’s able to make music that he knows will appeal to certain emotions of whoever listens to it. He’s known to have such emotionally rousing music that he’s often received praise for being a “music wizard” for casting such a spell.
      PHYSICAL STRENGTH | Minjoo never fails to work out almost every single day in order to stay in shape. Because of this, he’s physically strong which makes him capable of accomplishing different dances that involve such strength as well as making him the main target of his group whenever they need something to be lifted.
      NO FEAR OF BUGS | Byul Minjoo, the man afraid of pigeons, has no fear of bugs. This has led to him becoming RDV’s resident handler of the creepy-crawlies. Without fail, Minjoo is the first one they call for whenever they’re faced with a spider or any other bug nobody else wants to touch. Although, to his group members’ misfortune, Minjoo likes to joke around sometimes and won’t hesitate to chase someone around with whatever bug he was summoned to dispose of.
      DETERMINED | Minjoo’s determination is a strength of his because it’s the reason he’s able to accomplish so much. He is so determined to do his best for the group and for himself so he works incredibly hard in order to make sure he’s an asset. He’d hate to be useless so he does everything he can to not be.

      LEE JIHOON / WOOZI | Minjoo looks up to Jihoon because he thinks that he makes really good music. He also knows that the shorter man has a lot more true experience in the industry so he’s always sure to take whatever advice he can from him whenever they meet.
      GRACE DRAYTON | Grace is the very person who introduced Minjoo to the world of music so he owes everything to her. He admires her more than any other person and is so grateful to have her in his life. Without her advice and patience, he doesn’t know what he’d be doing with his life.
      DYNAMIC DUO | Minjoo looks up to Dynamic Duo as rappers and strives to one day be as known as they are. He has met them a few times and has walked away starstruck and equipped with fresh determination to one day be a role model to young rappers as they are to him.

SPECIAL TALENTS. /
      ACCENTS / DIALECTS | One of Minjoo’s special talents is his ability to do many accents and dialects. In addition to this, he can identify and mimic almost any accent he hears. He personally enjoys this talent of his since it gives him a way to spice up his rapping as well show off as a party trick. This talent also allows him to be able to mimic almost any rapping style since quite a few rappers rely on their dialect in their styles.
      ARTICULATE | Articulate is the fancy and non-suggestive way to say that Minjoo is good with his tongue. He is very good at tongue twisters because of how well and how clearly he speaks. It’s very rare that he stutter or stumble over his words. In addition to his tongue allowing him to be a clear speaker, no matter the speed, he can also tie a cherry stem into a knot as well as unwrap small candies without his hands.
      BEATBOXING | Since Minjoo was a kid, he’d always watch YouTube videos in order to teach himself how to beatbox. Now, he’s actually quite good at it and is often the group’s go-to guy whenever they need a beat for a rap battle or whatever dumb thing they’re doing. This talent of his also somewhat aids in his music making.
HOBBIES. /
      SKATEBOARDING | Minjoo legitimately loves skateboarding. He views it as a hobby of his since he’ll typically look for any excuse he can so that he can go and skateboard. It’s often that he can be found riding around at night whenever he can’t sleep or whenever his thoughts are so overwhelming that he can’t focus.
      COLLECTING TURTLE-THEMED ITEMS | Minjoo loves cute things and he also loves turtles. What do you get when you mix Minjoo’s favorite animal and cute things? A collection of adorable items of or with turtles. Seriously, he has an entire stationary set of sea turtles as well as multiple turtle plushies.
      MAKING NEW MUSIC | While this has become Minjoo’s job, he still makes music on the side as a hobby. Of course, there’s things that he makes that RDV can’t use so it’s only natural he keeps those around for his own personal use. Making music is something that Minjoo enjoys greatly and where’s the fun in only making music for others and not for yourself as well?
      VOLUNTEERING AT AN ANIMAL SHELTER | Listen here, Minjoo would never in his life pass up the opportunity to work with cute animals so it’s only natural that he volunteers at an animal shelter. In addition to the perks of being around the animals, it’s also a way for Minjoo to help out around the community. Of course, the company would use this as way to boost his popularity if it ever got out that he did this but that’s not how he looks at it. Minjoo just likes being helpful and he’s more than happy to do so around cute animals.
      WRITING LETTERS | One of Minjoo’s favorite things to do is write letters. He loves the intimacy of it because writing a handwritten letter could never compare to an email or a text message. He often writes letters mostly to vent but also to just have somewhere to put his thoughts. He rarely ever actually sends these letters or gives these letters to the people they’re meant for but it still gives him comfort to write them. Because of his love of writing letters, he often buys stationary of all sorts.
TRIVIA. /
      - Minjoo often calls his older brother and mentor to check in on them whenever he gets the chance to do so. They’re the two most important people in life and he feels bad whenever he doesn’t call them to talk to them at least a few times during the week.
      - This guy will literally devour any and everything that is seafood or flavored as some type of seafood. Some people find this weird but he doesn’t really care. Less people who like seafood means more for him.
      - He has never been in a romantic relationship with anyone. Sure, he’s had crushes on girls and guys alike but he’s never pursued a relationship considering he knows people prefer to avoid him. He personally doesn’t think he’s really dateable because people only ever feel uncomfortable around him.
      - In reference to the previous trivia, Minjoo doesn’t really claim any sexuality. If he likes someone, he likes someone and he doesn’t want a label to limit him on who he can or can’t like.
      - He played the alto-sax in his school’s band all throughout middle and high school.
      - He has never told anyone this but he has always wanted a younger sibling. This may be one of the reasons he tends to be more protective of the younger RDV members.
      - Minjoo doesn’t have a music preference and will listen to any and everything that isn’t screamo. Keep screamo away from him.
      - Byul Minjoo fucking hates hair salons. The smell, the atmosphere, having a stranger mess with his hair. All of it is awful to him. He tries to avoid the hair salon as much as possible so he rarely, if at all, dyes his hair.
      - He is not the silent type. His input is always blunt, overly honest, and teasing.
      - He keeps all of the letters he writes in binders that he stacks into a box and shoves under his bed. No one has seemed to mess with it so far so he’s not worried.
      - Minjoo does not know his own strength and, half the time, he forgets just how tall and muscly he is. Because of this, he tends to be very clumsy and it’s no surprise that he frequently bumps into things. His group members have developed the reflexes to catch whatever he knocks over but the number of things that were sacrificed along the way is concerning.
      - Minjoo does indeed know that he can tend to be clumsy and forget just how big he is, which leads to him accidentally being too rough with someone. He does try to keep himself in check though and reels in his excitement whenever they do something that, well, excites him so that he can avoid accidentally hurting someone or something.
      - Baseball is by far his favorite sport but he fucking sucks at it. Literally, do not ask the poor guy to play because it will be embarrassing. Now, he’d make a damn good baseball coach but don’t count him to be valuable to the team on the field.

      GRAYSON | Minjoo’s stage name is meaningful to him because it’s a combination of the names of the two most important people in his life, Grace and Carson. Without them, he wouldn’t have become a trainee at BigHit.
STAGE NICKNAME. /
      TIGER | Minjoo earned this nickname because of how fierce he is on stage. His stage presence is powerful and the sheer amount of strength that exudes from his rapping fascinates people. Additionally, tigers are beautiful and solitary animals whose behavior and lifestyle is overall shrouded in mystery. To the fans, this also exactly how Minjoo is so it makes since to them for “Tiger” to be his nickname.

ON-STAGE PERSONA. /
      When interacting with fans on camera and on stage, Minjoo is not that different from his regular behavior. He retains his mysterious and intimidating vibe but fans tend to see him as more of a teddy bear because he lets more of his soft side show when he’s interacting with them. He’s more talkative than usual and lets any charm he has shine through. Now, when he’s not interacting with fans, he’s the fierce rapper that RDV’s fans call Tiger. Every move he makes and every line he delivers when he’s performing is powerful, shaking viewers to their core with his intensity. He doesn’t even have to try very hard for the intenseness he manages to achieve but it never fails to impress fans. From the way he dances and raps to the simple look in his eyes and standing position, it’s clear that he didn’t come to play.

      LEE JIHOON / WOOZI | Minjoo became close with Jihoon during their trainee days. They happened to run into each other when they were both out and about the city at night, each of them looking to clear their minds. They got to talking and bonded over both being composers. The rest is history after that. They’ve gotten closer over the years and they meet up as often as their schedules allow them to.
      CHANYEOL | Minjoo actually became friends with Chanyeol through Jihoon. Jihoon introduced them at one of their little meetups and the three have been inseparable since that day.

SCANDALS + ARTICLES. /
      - The biggest scandal Minjoo has been involved with was the whole pre-debut thing featuring his mom. It definitely hasn’t been forgotten by trainees who were around when it happened so it would more than likely come up again and cause a huge amount of issues for him and possibly his group members as well.
      - Another scandal Minjoo might get caught in is one concerning his sexuality. Maybe someone he formerly liked had known and decided to spread it around that he has proven to liked girls and guys alike. Minjoo honestly would not care about this one and remain unbothered because he personally doesn’t see it as a big deal, especially since whoever spread this have no actual evidence.
      - As with most composers, Minjoo could maybe also get caught up in a “plagiarism” scandal in which fans accuse him of plagiarizing another group’s song.

      OUTER SPACE | Out of everyone in the group, Minjoo has always gotten along with OUTER SPACE the best. They’ve always just vibed really well together. They truly bring out the best in each other and it’s always a sight to see OUTER SPACE actually talking and laughing with Minjoo and to see Minjoo in a completely different light, getting a glimpse past his intimidating exterior.
      SERENDIPITY | The second member that Minjoo gets along best is mom of RDV. He’s admittedly confided in her multiple times through the time they’ve been a group because she’s reliable and actually gives pretty great advice. She’s one of the only people he’d trust with his life and respects a lot.

HOW YOU TWO MET. /
      OUTER SPACE and Minjoo simply met during their trainee days. It was around the time the entire scandal featuring Minjoo and his mom’s “side job” came to be. Most people avoided Minjoo and/or did nothing but taunt him. The only person that never made the effort to stay away from him was OUTER SPACE. Minjoo found it comforting yet odd how this one person was so indifferent to all of the bullshit that seemed to follow him but he wasn’t going to question it. Minjoo was just grateful to have some company. Gradually, the more they began finding themselves purposely sitting at the same table or hanging out on the rooftop, they became friends. With OUTER SPACE being Minjoo’s first actual friend as a trainee, he was ecstatic and it all bloomed from there with the two boys unknowingly showing each other how to be the best versions of themselves as they became closer.
HIS PERSONALITY. /
      OUTER SPACE seems to be a very reserved person who only ever opens up to people he feels completely comfortable with. He can be talkative and even funny but he personally prefers listening though he doesn’t mind talking with the right person. He probably has some internalized fears that lead to him silently worrying about his members at even the slightest sign of a serious issue though it’s not like he’d voice that unless he really had to.



RELATIONSHIP STATUS./
      BEGINNING | In the beginning, Minjoo’s relationship with OUTER SPACE would probably remain as friends although it would be obvious that they care for each other as a little more than friends. On Minjoo’s end, he’d probably be more flirty when they interact together though the entire thing is still a foreign concept for him considering he’s never been in a relationship.
      MIDDLE | In the middle, the two of them finally start getting cozier with each other and becomes even more obvious to their suspecting group members that they do in fact have something between them. At this point, they’d both be more aware of their feelings for each other though I don’t think either of them would choose to put a label on what they have quite yet, instead opting for testing the waters by doing coupley things within the safety of the dorm.
      END | In the end, they would have finally talked everything out and decided to make it completely official, becoming official boyfriends. If you ask any of their group members, they’d been boyfriends far longer than that purely because of how they acted. For Minjoo, this is exciting and frightening at the same time since he has zero experience in the field of romance but I feel that he’d be comforted by the fact that he was at least experiencing it all with someone he truly likes, or, perhaps, loves, and trusts so he knows he’ll be fine, they will be fine.
HOW YOU ACT AROUND EACH OTHER. /
      Minjoo definitely shows that he’s a hopeless romantic. He’s so soft and loving towards OUTER SPACE, doting on him like no other and making sure he’s taking care of himself. If people thought they were inseparable before their feeling came into play, they should see them now. OUTER SPACE is more shy in his approach to Minjoo yet he still has that confidence makes Minjoo weak in the knees. Neither of them let up on teasing each other and making sure the other is doing well and is happy and it’s always just an overall wholesome moment when they’re together.
RELATIONSHIP TRIVIA. /
      - Minjoo often stays up late at night to finish music and OUTER SPACE will stay up with him and sit beside him as he works, often pitching in his own advice before eventually making Minjoo go to bed.
      - OUTER SPACE robs Minjoo of his comfortable sweaters, cardigans, and hoodies but the latter isn’t complaining when he gets to see his favorite boy wearing his clothes.
      - As was the routine when they were trainees, these two can be found on the roof of the dorm building or main building whenever one of them is feeling particularly stressed and needs to get away from everyone besides the other.
      - They make songs together, Minjoo making the music and OUTER SPACE writing and singing.
      - Minjoo makes OUTER SPACE participate in celebrating American holidays with him.
      - They have matching sweaters that say “Tall” and “Taller” because OUTER SPACE didn’t want one that said “short”.
      - They have their own separate beds but it’s become less of a surprise to their group members when they find them both sleeping in the same bed.
      - He buys Minjoo a little turtle for his birthday since they’re easy to take care of.

SCENE SUGGESTIONS. /
            (I’m really bad at these so I apologize for their low quality.)
      - Just an entire scene of OUTER SPACE sitting up with Minjoo as he works on music for the group. Minjoo hooked up a second pair of headphones to the system to that OUTER SPACE can listen to what he has and suggest some things throughout the process. There’s probably a point where Minjoo can feel his eyes drooping and decides to call it quits for the night though OUTER SPACE was already three steps ahead of him, knowing how the other functions when it comes to this kind of stuff. So, he’s already returned the extra headphones to their place and waits for Minjoo to remove his before they go to bed, commencing in their nightly routine of squeezing onto the single mattress in as comfortable of a position as they can manage.
      - Maybe RDV somehow get a free day, by some stroke of luck, so everyone decides to just chill out in the dorms. Minjoo and OUTER SPACE choose to spend their time together binge-watching any movie that comes up, most being thriller and horror movies because of Minjoo’s preference to them. Although, the entire time, they’re making funny commentary back and forth because they’ve probably seen those movies a thousand times together by then. It’s an endearing sight for the group members who happen to catch a glimpse at the two squeezed together with as many blankets and snacks as possible. Seeing the arguably two most mysterious members smiling and content makes their group members feel a sense of relief because it’s sign that they’re opening up, even if it’s just to each other.
      - Minjoo takes OUTER SPACE with him to an animal shelter when he volunteers as a date of sorts but they end up doing no volunteer work because they both fall absolutely in love with a newly dropped off litter of kittens or puppies and spend the entire time playing with them. OUTER SPACE may end up getting attached to one and frequents the shelter with Minjoo after that, only to leave each time knowing that he couldn’t take his little favorite home. Once the kittens or puppies are old enough to be adopted, Minjoo adopts that particular one and gifts the cutie to OUTER SPACE and it’s softness all around.

WHY DO YOU DESERVE TO DEBUT? |
“I think I deserve to debut because I’ve proven how beneficial I can be to any group I debut in. I’ve worked so hard from the moment I became a trainee in order to be prepared to debut and to show what I’m capable of. I think, in some ways, I’ve had to work harder than others to prove myself because of the whole scandal but, in the end, that has made me better prepared for debut.”

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN A SUBUNIT WITH? |
“I think it’d be cool to be in a sub-unit with SERENDIPITY, VIXEN, and/or OUTER SPACE because we’re all pretty valuable members to the group, whether it for production or performance, so we’d all probably be a strong sub-unit together.”



EXTRA. /
      I feel like I did an awful job at pinpointing Minjoo’s main personality and highlighting that there’s different sides to him. So, just to clarify that in a simpler way, Minjoo:
            - Is not the silent type and will give his input on different things and will butt into a conversation, albeit with his usual teasing, blunt, and overly-honest speaking manner.
            - Isn’t overly fond of hyperactive people but he tolerates them.
            - Is patient to an extent but will get annoyed if things get out of hand.
            - Adores children and is in his softest state when around them.
            - Is pretty teasing and likes messing with his members sometimes.
            - Is pretty protective over his group members, especially younger ones. Only the group is allowed to tease and mess with each other, outsiders don’t get that privilege and will get to deal with an annoyed Minjoo if they hurt one of his group members’ feelings.
