- Album: American Football: I like that it feels like it has a singular focus of a specific time & relationship. Even if banging on about it starts to work against the album by the end, using a lot of instrumental breaks/tracks helps since its the most emotive part of the record
- Never Meant: 11 K.K. Slider still outsold. Anyway the best way to listen to this is lying in a second floor room staring out the window & pretending you're in the Americ anfootball house
- The Summer Ends: 10 The perfect summer shade of wistful & bittersweet
- Honestly?: 9 That guitar is a cheat code
- For Sure: 8 Those horns are a cheat code
- You Know I Should Be Leaving Soon: 9 If I heard this coming out of a garage I'd start floating to it like a cartoon character who smelled a freshly baked pie
- But the Regrets Are Killing Me: 5 FeelsBadMan
- I'll See You Where We're Both Not So Emotional: 7 Oh no bro's gone full cold logical robot, oh no
- Stay Home: 8 Eight songs into this dude feeling terrible and I'm jamming
- The One With The Wurlitzer: 7 Honestly glad this album has multiple instrumentals, its easily the best part of the album
- Album: Clarity: Listened to this after the Americ anfootball & SDRE albums, and the generally brighter shade of the emo sound compared to those helped it along some. Of course also helps that they're insanely good for an emo/pop punk band at the poppier side of their sound
- Table For Glasses: 7 The little dings are so precious omg
- Lucky Denver Mint: 8 Learning new facts about the manufacturing of coins everyday
- Your New Aesthetic: 9 We have a confirmed headbanger, I repeat, a confirmed headbanger
- Believe In What You Want: 8 Damn you Jimmy Eat World for this immediate transition; as a rater I need to know when to pause, ponder, and officially score the previous entry
- A Sunday: 6 "The haze clears from your eyes on a Sunday" As a Chicago Bears fan I would like to challenge that statement
- Crush: 10 Alright shit that moment halfway through when you get new separate guitars come in through each ear? Now that's what I call music
- 12.23.95: 5 Society if this became the popular Christmas song instead of All I Want for Christmas Is You: [image of a desolate, destroyed city long after The Incident]
- Ten: 8 There's probably a quarter decent Pokemon joke somebody can make outta the bridge but its 3am right now so it won't be me
- Just Watch The Fireworks: 10 Lovely track, great string use. God I Wish This Were Me
- For Me This Is Heaven: 8 I'm thankful this album is in the rate cause songs like this are a nice switch-up from the sour tones of some of the rest of the rate
- Blister: 7 Shoutout Hanes X Temp socks for keeping my feet blister free for years
- Clarity: 9 When the time comes for them to just explode they really nail it
- Goodbye Sky Harbor: 8 I am now three minutes in and apparently the last lyrics have just been sung. Hoo boy these next thirteen minutes are gonna be a ride, huh. EDIT: Damn, you could nearly fit an entire Whack World in that mfer
- Album: Diary: Pretty good, but tbh not something I'm generally in the headspace of or really desire returning to
- Seven: 10 When I was making the rate trailer, I remember thinking especially highly of the druming in this album's clip. Happy to say the full song lives up to the promise
- In Circles: 10 Opening up a pit but my feet are dragging and my head's drooping
- Song About An Angel: 7 Genius: "This song is believed to be a conversation between a guy and an angel (possibly a girl)" Cool, thanks
- Round: 8 It rocks
- 47: 6 Don't start your song off with the phrase "swallow whole"
- The Blankets Were The Stairs: 5 Would've given more points if this song/album was actually about fake Greek God Astiocles, who can drink the entire ocean
- Pheurton Skeurto: 10 Oh hell yeah, love this waltzy ass switch-up. I dunno if it's a 10 in a vaccuum but it's exactly what I needed right now and also it would be amazing if this placed surprisingly high
- Shadows: 9 A nice shade of twinkly + drums going hard as hell = yessir
- 48: 7 "Chain" "memory" oh no do I have to listen to six prior Sunny Day Real Estate albums in order to understand this one
- Grendel: 7 What's he sayin
- Sometimes: 8 Actually liking his voice more in this one
- Album: Something to Write Home About: "This is just a normal pop punk/emo album" Joke's on you, I sorta like that kind of shit
- Holiday: 10 This fits in so well with the songs I rated in 00s Pop Punk rate (complimentary)
- Action & Action: 10 Chalk up another high score to me hearing the chorus over and over again while making the rate trailer
- Valentine: 6 Necessary change of pace even if it's nothing special
- Red Letter Day: 8 Saying "we're loyal like brothers" to your SO seems immediately off tbh
- Out of Reach: 6 This fits in so well with the songs I rated in 00s Pop Punk rate ("ehhhh" noise while I shrug)
- Ten Minutes: 9 Close but not quite
- The Company Dime: 10 Kinda power poppy, I really enjoyed it
- My Apology: 5 I like the way it sounds but dude sounds like a total turbo nerd here
- I'm a Loner Dottie, a Rebel: 8 Going to the Genius page for this song and clicking on the highlighted "my" and being confused for the rest of the night
- Long Goodnight: 8 The best of the slower songs so far
- Close to Home: 10 Can immediately picture myself on the barricade hopping around and screaming this
- I'll Catch You: 8 A solid closer
- BONUS TRACKS
- Killing A Camera: 9 Nice that we have room for two Illinois emo bands in this rate
- Little League: 9 Arrive. Use the phrase "museum mouth." Scream. Get a 9. Leave.
- Radio: 6 Nice outro
- Me Vs. You: 7 Great voice
- Hazel: 10 The reverse rate manifestation of this recently getting taken off Spotify
- Woolworm: 9 woah that Woolworm can ball
- Accident Prone: 10 Adding this album to my backlog I guess. I'm bouncin
- Chinatown: 9 Enjoyable, should probably get around to this album eventually since I remember this band back when I was still using Pandora as my main streaming source

- Gloria: 8 Songs I would hear walking around Riot Fest distilled into one song
- Bad Diary Days: 6 Good probably but I zoned out
- Red & Blue Jeans: 8 If NewJeans were in the 90s Midwest Emo bonus they would win
- Breakfast of Champions: 9 Multi vocal drifting!?
- A Picture: 6 Rocks when it needed to
- Back And To The Left: 8 So Hoobastank was singing about Texas this whole time
- END
