Cold civil war

Disclaimer, I don't want to think this but I am and I am sharing it rather than bottling it up so someone can dissuade me. But I am noticing a partisan pattern to quite a few of these recent shootings in America. I on some of this is presumptuous but I want to be proven wrong so I don't keep thinking it.

June: Bernie supporter shoots Scalise

September: refugee shoots red state congregation (a predominantly white one specifically, race mattered to the perp based on his social media)

November: apparent atheist shoots up a Texas church, I know this one is presumptuous so I am hoping his motive doesn't fall into this pattern

Is America in a "cold civil war"?

Note: I let out Vegas because we don't know his motive, but it is noteworthy that he shot people at a Country Music Show. Something that could also be associated with the right culturally if not politically.

If the motive for this guy doesnt he revealed and the whole event memoryholed like Vegas was, I will be tempted to wonder if the info is suppressed for few of civil unrest.
