TIFU by going into my fathers “recently deleted” folder on his iPhone.

My father is the most wholesome man I know. Think Mr. Rogers or Bob Ross but somehow more wholesome/pure/kind. He got his very first phone/electronic (other than a TV) three years ago, it was an iPhone 6s. He doesn’t really know how to use it still and it’s primarily used to text and call. He often asks me how to do things (he doesn’t even know how to google things, just uses Siri to ask basic questions). The only thing he knows how to do is take photos, but I’m fairly certain he doesn’t know how to delete them because there are so many accidental selfies/blurry pics in his library. Sometimes I’ll ask him about a photo and he doesn’t know how it got there, he’s clueless.

Anyway, for those of you who don’t own iPhones, there is a folder that stores photos you’ve deleted from your main album. They stay in this semi-unnoticeable folder for 30 days before being erased. I have been through his deleted photos albums many times and it’s either empty, or has the photos I’ve deleted for him.

Well, I was visiting him and something came up. He was trying to remember the breed of his friends dog. I said “I’ll look through your photos. I’m pretty sure you’ve showed me it before”. He handed me his phone and I looked through the pictures, I couldn’t find it so thought I’d quickly check the recently deleted to make sure.

I opened it up and there were several dick pics. I immediately closed out and said that I couldn’t find any pictures of the dog. I was totally not expecting to see this and am honestly shocked. I know it doesn’t seem like a huge deal, BUT I’VE NEVER SEEN MY FATHERS PEEN BEFORE AND WHY THE FUCK IS HE TAKING PICTURES OF IT?

This is totally not like him. 1000% out of character, I’ve gone through his photos a million times and never found anything like it. He also has no reason to take a dick pic as he is very single (he’d tell me if he were seeing/talking to someone immediately).

I’m at this point hoping it was my brothers dick...weird? Yes. However, my brother is younger than me and his phone is absolute shit, he can’t take pictures on it since the camera is fucked up. I know for a fact my brother frequently uses my dads phone to do various things like make calls or text his friends, he is also an android user so may not know about the “recently deleted” folder on iPhones.

My theory is that my bro. borrowed my dads phone to perhaps send a dick pic to a fling on Facebook and then deleted them. But also idk, maybe it was my dad who randomly took pictures of his dick for no reason at all.

Either way, I’m scarred and keep having PTSD flashbacks.

Tl;dr: Was trying to find a picture of something on my fathers phone (who doesn’t even know how to use his own phone and is also very wholesome/pure). Went to the recently deleted folder only to find several dick-pics. I don’t know for sure if it was his, but if it wasn’t his it’s my brothers. So I’m scarred either way.
