  42. At the dawn of the 20th century, a band of adventurers are part of an expedition to prove the existence of a lost world isolated from the modern world. Disaster happens and the band find themselves trapped and isolated in this dangerous land with only the help of a young wild woman who was stranded in the land herself as a child. Together, the band fight to survive against the fearsome dinosaurs and other dangers that land has as they search for a way to escape.

  44. this is the worst show i&#39;ve ever seen. the special effects are laughable, but not laughable enough to be watchable. the stories are either impossible to follow, or so poorly written and acted that one doesn&#39;t follow them. if, for some reason, you found yourself interested in this show in advance of seeing it (as opposed to, say, unhappily finding it crap up one&#39;s TV after x-files on TNT, as happened to me), avoid it. maybe you love Arthur Conan Doyle. i hear this series has little to do with his story. notably, i would say &quot;i hear&quot; even if i had sat in front of the TV while the entire series played, as well as read the book; paying attention to this show is a fool&#39;s game that i cannot bear to play. i hate this show, and for the sake of my belief in humanity, i want you to hate this show. don&#39;t ever watch it.<br/><br/>(note: no spoilers. this show is too much of a mess to discern &quot;plot details&quot; to spoil)
  45. At a time when I long for the simpler, more innocent days of television The Lost World is certainly welcome. My generation (the twenty-somethings) has a gargantuan deficit of morality. Shows like this that are not entirely about sex or witch craft are a sigh of relief. I watch this show daily and am thoroughly entertained no matter how far-fetched or cheesy it is. Wake up everyone! We don&#39;t have to have million dollar special effects or even shows with an iota of probability to have an enjoyable program! Let&#39;s enjoy the simpler things even if they are a little goofy. It&#39;s a darn shame that there will be no new episodes of this show.

  47. Yes, it is based off the book of the same name. It is essentially the same story, with little changes. The character of Veronica was not featured in the book, and is a character original to the television series. a5c7b9f00b
